I still remember the game against NE during the McCown season (the Seferian-Jenkins fumbled TD controversy game). We were 3-2 and tied with NE playing for first place. We started the game with a quick 14-0 lead and then got a fumble recovery. We start driving down field and on a 3rd and 10 from the 50 McCown hit Anderson for a short gain and he got literally got creamed in a helmet to helmet hit. It was brutal and three flags flew. But suddenly there was a huddle and they decided it was a legal hit. It was outrageous, and really felt like they couldn't allow NE to go down by 3 scores in the 1st quarter.
