He's right, but it's also funny he's criticizing the Jets for having a rookie coach, coordinator and qb considering that was the exact same situation he came to the team in. Which is also sad in a way that we're doing the same thing 12 years later.
You do not necessarily have to fire anybody but you should be bringing a consultant especially on offense. On Defense Saleh was a d-coordinator fix this mess. Saleh, Bring somebody to help LeFleur.
Bringing someone in would be great, but there might not be too many people who would want to come into this situation, especially mid season.
Yea, they definitely need someone with experience on that staff next year. I know the Knapp thing sucked and fucked them over, but they should've reached out to someone with experience to get them onboard.
It was bad, even worse than the 45-3 debacle in 2010 because that was against a red hot team led by Brady.
That could be Matt Cavanagh, whose already on staff, and has plenty of NFL experience, including as an OC
Or Gregg Knapp. Thoughts to his fmaily for their loss as that is more important then ball. That said this team is missing him so much
Does he suck too? If he’s been on staff so far what does that say about him? It’s desperation time ..sigh
He works for LaFleur, not the other way around; who knows what their relationship is like? La Fleur is calling all the shots for the offense. But Cavanaugh has ten years of offensive coordinator experience, forty years in the NFL and played in 112 games. How could he do worse? The time to make the change is now, not after watching eleven more pathetic games go by. Every person at Florham Park should be in the big meeting room watching that clip every day this week.
