With Jets now 1-5 and looking to play meaningless Football before November yet again, I figured now is as good a time as any to start looking into the future and discuss what off-season moves the Jets should make to at least attempt to be competitive next year.

List of some of the top FA's for next year: https://nfltraderumors.co/top-2022-nfl-free-agents-list/

Draft value chart for any trade ideas: https://nfltraderumors.co/nfl-draft-value-chart/

Salary Cap list (Jets are currently 7th in cap space): https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/cap/2022/

    Current Draft Order: http://www.tankathon.com/nfl

Current NFL Draft Big Board: https://www.profootballnetwork.com/2022-nfl-draft-big-board-top-50-prospects-w0/

If there are any other useful links for deciding an off-season plan, comment below and I'll edit it in.

To me the Jets have some glaring needs: RG, C, S, WLB, CB, and TE among the first few that stand out. I would make an argument the Jets need a top tier number 2 receiver as well, Cole Sr. has not cut it.

What moves do you think the Jets should make this off-season? What FA's do you hope they pick up and who do you hope to draft? Feel free to include reasonable trades and Coaching Staff moves.

I’ll be the first to say it, ——— UFA RG Wyatt Teller. Pay this man whatever he wants.

Most of the $$$ will come from cutting Conner McGovern and then drafting Tyler Linderbaum C from Iowa as late as possible after a trade down in the 2022 draft 1st round.

There are deep seeded issued within this organization that encompass more than just players. They are non competitive week in and week out. There are 31 other NFL teams, then there are the Jets.

Yeah, coaching has been a far bigger problem than talent this year.

In the scheme the DC runs, CB isn't a premium position. I'm curious if that excludes Stingley and Elam from consideration. Really need an Edge who is in the tier of Mack, Bosa, and Garrett.

JDs bigggest weakness has been being gun shy in FA to avoid Tru Johnson situations. Eventually though, you need to give your QB a chance on his rookie salary. We will unfortunately have to overpay but we need as much OL as possible.

with the draft, I think you can’t say no to Thibadeaux if he’s there. Or, trade a kings ransom if someone wants Corral. major major emphasis on OL early and often in draft and FA.

Why offseason already? We still have the lose 10 in a row and win 2 meaningless games at the end to kill our draft position to look forward to.
