I've seen enough. This team is consistently lifeless. We just gave up 31 points in the first half to our biggest rivals when we were off a bye. The team is extremely undisciplined and commits far too many penalties. Our vaunted defense consistently allows conversions on third and long. Enough. Saleh's not the guy.
He’s not the guy, but we have to spin our wheels for at least another season with Douglas, Wilson, and Saleh.
I am starting to think that this organization will never be good until they can recruit a proven HC with a proven (not BS west coast nonsense) system and staff to come here. We have seen the questionable re-treads and rookie hc's come here and be a total and complete embarrassment which is the case currently. I know Mosely is a good player, but come on, are we seriously going to blame what we just watched in this first half solely on his absence? There are 10 other guys playing on defense. We had the 1 game against TN with some sacks, have they sniffed a sack since? They won the TN game solely because Bullock missed the tying FG, otherwise we are 0-5 headed to 0-6. As it is, we are staring at 1-16, maybe 2-15 if we can eek out another win against the Jags maybe, although the way this defense looks against Mac Jones, Trevor will probably light them up like a Christmas tree. We haven't even faced Buffalo yet LOL. Can't imagine how ugly those games will be. I am so turned off from what we've witnessed this season, it is worse than last season even. Darnold, Matt Ryan, Mac Jones, a rookie QB himself TWICE, Teddy Bridgewater have all torched this defense being able to move the ball at will and score points whenever they needed to. I have to seriously question if this team has the first clue what they are doing because on game days, it looks like they certainly do not.
I've seen enough as well. This isn't rebuilding; this is incompetence. I'm not seeing any leadership from the coaching staff and the team is woefully unprepared for every game. That's on him.
Pete Carroll, Belichick, Dungy.. 6-10 year 1 Andy Reid 5-11 Bill Walsh 2-14 J. Johnson 1-15 Chuck Knoll...1-13 Landry was under .500 his 1st five seasons... Marv Levy 4-12..Parcells 3-12 I'm fine with the long haul..My issue is acting like it HAS to be a 8 year plan. This lot of picks is going to determine the next 8+ years and no one on this organization is showing any signs of competence in order to garner our faith in these next 8 years. That said, I was ok with both hirings and still am but fellas, let's put some fukin shake n bake in this shit..
Yes it’s looking very bad. like Adam Gase bad no fucking excuse to come out flat after a bye….though we all KNEW they would we are not competitive at all games over by halftime I’m a JD fan but it’s getting harder and harder…he’s now had two drafts and this team is no better than what he inherited. Like no progress. we only beat Tennessee because they had their top two wideouts out. we lost to a worse falcons team with both of their wideouts out NE scored on EVERY FUCKING DRIVE….every one until late in the third this is not acceptable I don’t know where to go from here, but we are definitely in the race for the top draft pick…
The question is what is the starting point for the long haul? This is the GM’s third year and his selected coach who should finally be the one to maximize the players the GM assembled.
I dunno. With all of those coaches, their teams at least showed some discipline and competitiveness in their rough first years. The Jets are just showing ineptness.
Highly prized rookie QB, rookie OC, somehow that equation just doesn’t work. Defense looks like Swiss cheese. It’s on Saleh. At least the Knicks are competitive.
I think Douglas gets one more year to show some improvement, and if not you have to dump Saleh with him so the next GM can start with his own coach.
The effort was disgusting. I don't want to hear anything about rebuilds or young coaching staff or anything of the like. The team looks simply uninterested in playing. Not to mention, they look shocked everytime there's a runningback flare out or screen against a rookie quarterback that throws the ball 5 yards down field every play.
That was what I was thinking a couple weeks ago, but this team is so bad that we can get away with firing everyone at the end of the season.
No one expected a lot of wins this year, but this team is seriously terrible. Both sides of the ball. Lots of injuries sure, lots of rookies sure. but this level of incompetence is just not acceptable. We are blown out of games, down double digits by halftime every fucking week. this is as bad as the Adam Gase team. No two ways about it we’d have a hard time beating the lions
