The Rangers and Knicks look really good. This might be the winter of Dolan. This idea that the Jets are perpetually screwed because of bad ownership is totally unfounded. All it takes is the right head coach and the right QB to come along. Unfortunately a lot of it is luck.
The Knicks have been an embarrassment for decades largely because of Dolan’s direct involvement. he left the Rangers alone, and they’ve been consistently good. Then he finally gets involved and fires the guys who put together this young talented team, and we gonna credit him? I just hope he goes back to ignoring the team, as they potentially have something really good brewing. nah he’s worse then J&J, and that’s saying something.

Dolan is the all-time worst owner in professional sports. Him finally stay the fuck away from anything resembling public management of his organizations after 20 years of perpetually publicly fucking them up, doesn't suddenly make him a good owner or a smart owner. It makes him smart enough to finally realize he doesn't know what he's doing; that's the professional sports owner equivalent of the 3 year old who finally realizes it hurts when you touch a hot stove. It's not something to be celebrated. Now that Dolan has disappeared, a good argument could be made that Woody is the worst owner in professional sports. Here's the worst part ... Woody knows he has no idea what he's doing, but he keeps asking NFL old-timers (who have absolutely no incentive to help the Jets become good) for help in hiring decisions. And those old-time blue bloods continue to f--- him over repeatedly ... and then he just goes back and does it again. It's a completely different type of stupid than the Dolan-type of stupid.

The Yankees haven't won a title, but they've been a playoff team almost every year. The Jets have been the worst team in the league over the last decade.
I believe it's time for a new GM for the Yankees. Cashman had a nice run, but some teams' POBO/GM's have surpassed him in recent years. Just look at the Dodgers.
