The Thrilla in Manila Muhammad Ali -vs- Joe Frazier : Fight #3. October 1, 1975 at the Coliseum in Manila. This was one hell of a fight.
did anyone else hear the announcers talk about the jets not having a single delay of game penalty all year? is this true? is this possible? if so, hats off to mangini, schott, the offense, and especially chad
As a Filipino i would say: Paquiao vs Morales Part I - Morales won by a close margin. Paquiao started slow, finished strong but wasnt enough. Part II - Paquiao won by Knockout ... enough said. Part III - Paquiao won again by Knockout .. started pounding early and finished it early. Jets Vs Pats this season Part I - Jets started slow, Finished strong but wasnt enough. Pats win Part II - Jets just dominated the Pats. Knocked Brady around Jets win Part III - who knows Im hoping that the results will be similar to the Paquiao vs Morales fight
I beat you to it but I really like your analogy for the trio of fights and the Jets vs Pats. I'd bet you did really well on your SAT's
Forget the boxing fight this week. As of last night there is a PERFECT film for Mangini to show the guys this week. Boise State vs. Oklahoma! An amazing game, finally won by the team that "had an easy schedule." It is the perfect embodiement of our own game.
Ward-Gatti 3 maybe? Fight of the Year, in 2004 and one of the most action packed 12 round decisions you will ever see.
Patriots Fan Here For you older fans of the sweet science. I think Mangini will show the bout from the old Little Rascals/Our Gang series where Alfalfa takes on Butch  Everything Mangini knows he learned from the Patriots Organization. Sincerely though, Patriots 27-Jets 13.
Actually, Ward won the first fight. and Gatti won the last 2. The 9th round of the first fight is widely considered the best round of boxing in quite some time.
Forget the boxing...He should show them the 2002 Sunday Night Game, Jets 30 Pats 17. I know it feels like centuries ago, but for the 3 players that played in it (Pennington, Coles, Ellis) it would serve as a reminder of how well they played that game and how they CAN own the Pats. And for the rest of the team, it should serve as motivation to go back to The Razor and kick their asses all over the field one more time in a BIG game!
