We won a great one and now onto next week. We play the Falcons in London. Game starts at 9:30 AM Eastern. Half of the country will probably watch us during breakfast/brunch. So we better show up. We are 1-3, win this one and get to 2-3 and then we will talk. Our good friend @jaywayne12 kicks us off with a great video below. Please hit Like and Subscribe to help one of our own
It looked like Washington was able to attack them down the field today. Hopefully we can contain Patterson, but at the same time make Ryan throw the ball down the field. He definitely doesn't have the arm strength like he used too.
It would be nice to go into the bye week 2-3, but even with how bad the Falcons have looked this season, the Jets have just as much potential to drop a turd lol. Hopefully the D can ball out, and Wilson can get some nice deep plays through the air.
This one is one of the wins I thought we might get. The Jets are a young team. Maybe the travel will energize them. Matt Ryan is ancient and he may leave his best game in the hotel room.
I'll be streaming this game from my phone at the Texas Motorplex while I'm getting geared up to watched top fuel cars scream down the strip at 330mph.
I'll actually get to watch this game at home for once... at 6:30am... Then I get to work baseball the rest of the day.
I'm just grateful I'll be there. Tested positive for Covid last week, now in the middle of Isolation for 10 days which ends Saturday. Not sure you call that a lucky break 'cos I got the damn thing but wouldn't have been happy if I had to miss the game because of it. I'm well on the road to recovery should you ask. My best wishes. I dealt with Covid myself back in early August. Nothing to mess around. Glad to hear you are doing better.
This should be a win if we do what we did yesterday. Constant pressure on Ryan and forcing the ball out of his hands early. They don't have the running game to keep us honest like we had to with Tennessee. Patterson is the exact type of guy that historically burns us though. Let Ashtyn Davis stick to him like stink on shit and keep Hall on Ridley. And hopefully LaFleur finally figured out what the rest of the world knew: play action and rolling out will lead to lots of points with Zach Wilson.
I took a peek at the look ahead line where you see what it is for the next week. I saw atl -4.5 at one point last week before our win yesterday. I guess our performance moved it a point and a half. Pretty crazy to think it would be ATL -6/7 if we were on the road. Seems like a lot.
I'd hafta look at ATL.. they just lost to Heineke and WFT... lost Julio but have Pitts the TE and Ridley still.... no idea who is their RB or whattheir D is like...
Hopefully we have Elijah back for this one too. This WR corps looks a lot more dangerous with Elijah on the field and could open things up underneath for everyone else.
I don't know if this is the right place for my question, but I haven't found anything else. As a "longtime" Jets fan for over 25 years, it was clear that I was coming to London from Switzerland. I was there 6 years ago in London as well.. Now my question, I remember, there were already some activities on Saturday in London (Travalgar Square) where I meet a lot of Jets fans. Is there something like a Fan rally also this year?
I've not seen anything advertised. I think the NFL are winding back these events a bit. They used to close down the whole of Regent Street and have a load of things going on.
