How much ya wanna bet nothing gets done between now and Sunday Whats the probability this OLproblem EVER gets fixed Falco?
I understand, and agree. I think the CS thought that he'd be better in this scheme since he has good movement skills, and that, combined with all the other Jets' needs and holes, is why he didn't. Also, they thought Elijah Moore was too great a prospect to pass up (no pun intended); otherwise, JD may have taken a RG in the 2nd round.
Sadly, we can't do that on the OL. Perhaps at RB, WR and TE we can. Who did you have in mind benching?
If you cut him, who's going to play RG? It's scary, but the others are probably worse and have little or no experience except Feeney, and no one wants to see him on the field.
He said Wilson needs to get the ball out more quickly. Meanwhile our OL is allowing the pocket to collapse more quickly than any other OL on average and GVR has been by far the worst piece of the OL.
I thought the same but on my rewatch zach actually played well. the drops were killer as was the o-line. we dropped a lot of big plays at key moments. ZW needs people to make plays for him, not fuck up his good plays. I seen a stat that his adjusted completion percentage was almost 70% if the dropped passes were caught
I’d start with benching Johnson for perrine and giving him and Coleman 3rd down/ passing downs duties.
I know this. I didn’t say what they should have done but what they should do to shake up the o a little bit and improve pass pro.
In one sense I agree with GVR in that Wilson never wants to give up on a play and is constantly trying to extend plays. While I admire his desire never to give up he will need to learn there are times to throw it away and move on to the next play. We saw him do that a few times last game. It is part of the learning process. But GVR is the last person that should be saying this. I don't think there has been a player who has done more to hurt this offense than GVR.
It can't be any worse than an open barn door can it? I am not sure how you claim people off the practice squads of other teams, I don't even know if you can tbh but https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phil_Haynes_(American_football) Cleared waivers I was looking at another Seahawk but he has been claimed off their practice squad but back on the 15th, Jordan Simmons now at LVR Now, I have defended JD but surely he could see that Roten was shit, why did he not have a stab at either or both of these guys, I was just looking about for guards and stumbles across this article. https://seahawkswire.usatoday.com/2...-haynes-jordan-simmons-practice-squad-guards/ Ben Braden a twice ex-Jet at GB who looked good pre-season but not so good in camp, I honestly can't remember how he played just his name.
Is Perine healthy? Coleman was sick yesterday. I agree in principle. Johnson has not played well and imo doesn't deserve the reps he's been getting. As far as I'm concerned, he's playing his way off the roster. How about giving Adams a shot? Also, how about benching Davis and starting Mims? If there's still a problem with Mims not knowing the whole playbook, only run what he knows. Practice it until they can execute it flawlessly. Mims couldn't play any worse than how Davis has played the last two games.
I agree that JD needs to do something about the RG spot. I don't think Seahawks players are the answer however, as I believe their OL may have been worse than ours.
Adams, has been really fucked over by every team he has been at, guys is averaging 5yards and still gets kicked to the PS, maybe he doesn't know all the RB/WR routes as well
