Friendly bump. Not only does this team have no talent, they are incredibly poorly coached. Maybe Saleh should've went out and hired some real coaches and not just hire all his friends who have also never done the jobs they're being asked to do.
This is my biggest gripe. A rookie HC who comes from the defensive side of the ball should have gone with a seasoned OC instead of a rookie OC. Didn't check but it feels like many of the coaches on the offensive side are rookies in their current positions.
Worst game of the season so far if you ask me, I think the only positive takeaway to make is that our new punter seemed to punt well. Other than that I don't know what else you can say that this team did well. Penalties, first of all, it feels like every other play the Jets are getting a penalty called against them. Zach has an issue with holding on to the ball too long and getting happy feet and misfiring his throws as a result.... doesn't help that he had three first down passes go through his receivers hands, including one on 4th down. Then on defense is when the true undisciplined mess comes to fruition, I stopped watching when Sherwood didn't touch the reciever as they were rolling around on the ground. It was ultimately offset by a penalty on Denver but c'mon!! He didn't know the play was penalized, he just didn't care.... goes to show you where the players heads are at right now, which is not in the game. I know it's week 3, and I know this team is young, but at least the last 2 weeks I came away somewhat happy with the D. Week 1 was faulted to the O-line, week 2 was faulted to a Zach Wilson meltdown..... week 3 though, was a complete team effort meltdown.... going to be a long season..... hopefully we see some improvement from these young guys.
When Mann comes back they might as well keep 2 punters. One ain't gonna be enough with all the 3 and outs we have.
Eh no surprise ….. the Jets have won twice in Denver in the 40 years I’ve been watching them. I said when the schedule came out the Jets were going to get crushed in this game. Several posters told me I was wrong …. Anyway I didn’t see a shut out coming. Right now this team is lost. I don’t see it getting any better next week…..
