by far and I think I hyped myself into the Elijah Moore train too fast. He looks lost like a puppy on the street

    1. That's not saying much.

    2. I find it hard to believe that Crowder wouldnt be able to surpass Berrios production.

Yup, I say it every week.

Although Mosley and Michael Carter continue to impress me

A first time OC is going to go with receiver that makes him feel comfortable when he calls plays.

Berrios is not scaring anyone on the defense, however he is knowledgeable enough and multifaceted enough that OC is comfortable with him.

Similar to what Gase did with Frank Gore, he wasn’t the best RB but he gave Gase peace of mind with his scheme.

Berrios is one of those utility players that you keep until his wheels fall off. He'll never be expensive and he will always catch those low balls.

But to answer the OP, no I do not think he's our best player. I just don't see our best players running through walls yet.

Same here. It's becoming evident that there's a reason that he slid out of the first round. If it weren't for the QB, he'd be the biggest disappointment so far.

Berrios reminds me of Chrebet lite. He deserves to be on a better team.

Yes, his versatility has been wasted with this team.

I agree. He is a local kid who I watched play in High School so I am a little biased but he does all the little things right that keeps him around.
He actually might be physically more talented than Chrebet, who I also was a big fan cause I graduated from Hofstra, but Wayne just had something special about him.

We got Elijah Moore for the little cute end around he could do and got rocked. He has a lot of work to do as a route runner.

I was going for the hyperbolic effect but yes, you're both right. Berrios is probably our fourth or fifth best player right now.
