2 touchdowns (one run in by Zack), 0 Int, 5 sacks. Defense keeps us in the game. Roast a chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, peas. Maybe a pumpkin pie…it is fall.
I kept reading this in spanish...wtf. I was like What in the Peyton Manning...what in the Peyton Manning...I don't get it...lmao.. Cue or Queue!!
One thing Zach Wilson has going for him at Denver is that he is accustomed to playing at high elevations. Let's go with four sacks and one int against the Broncs. No NFL QB has ever reached the 50/30 club. Jameis Winston of Tampa came close in 2019 with 47 sacks and 30 ints (Winston also threw 33 TDs and for over 5,100 yards). Last Jet to throw 30 ints was Richard Todd in 1980, throwing three picks on the last game of the season at Miami to turn the trick. This was a nationally televised Saturday stinker of a game where NBC decided not to use any announcers in the booth to call the game. The experiment obviously didn't work out too well for NBC, since it has not been tried since. If anything, now there are too many announcers, field commentators and obnoxious pregame blowhards who contribute nothing of substance to the broadcast. Great invention that volume control.
I marked 3 dice with dots to indicate sacks, ints, and TD. Put them in my magic Yatzee cup, shock em up, and rolled them out. 5 5 5. All fives, so there you have it. Jets give up 5 sacks, 5 ints, then win the game 35-28 (in OT). You're welcome.
2 int's, 4 sacks, 2 other hard QB hits. I think the line is pretty accurate. I'd go with 27-14 Broncos, maybe the Jets cover with a late score.
No idea what to expect tomorrow. Coaches and player will have pored over the tape and seen all those ugly back-foot throws. They will have agreed it won't happen again. The attitude will be different. The weight will be forward. That will be the plan. Then comes the first punch in the mouth. After that, who knows.
If we win, I wouldn’t care less what the stats of the game tell me.All I want is for Wilson to play smart and aggressive, not scared, confident but not reckless. I think we will play Denver tougher than what people think. This team at 0-2 is actually playing better than most all give them credit for. We need to avoid turn overs and execute like we know how.
1 pick, 5 sacks. I expect a higher completion percentage this week. Even if the coaches have supreme confidence in they need to reign him in just a bit. Hopefully they worked a bit on throwing the ball away when there’s nothing there or the play is busted.
I’m not hoping it happens but, we can’t be allowed to be positive about Wilson. So I’m being cynical.
I was off by a sack, I think Von Miller has definitely lost a step. Looks like Ralebird and Sec336 got the sacks n picks correct.
