I’m reading the commentary about dropping back into coverage but seeing a guy not getting an easy sack. I don’t know what to believe.

Looks like he thought it was a screen because he got through so easily. So dominant he faked himself out.

He absolutely read screen after how fast he beat the LG. Players are coached that in HS - it should never be that easy, if it is, you gotta think it's screen.

To add, with it being cmc, it was probably emphasized all week

You wanna get on Q for hidden production, fine. Be my guest, but this ain't the hill to die on. He's doing what he's been coached to do for 10+ years.

People getting on Q for this play reminds me of Micah Parsons where everyone said he looked lost on that one pass play week 1. Players doing what they are being coached to do, but couch coaches think they know best. Crazy

Looks like Q was assigned to spy CMC on that play but he hesitates for a moment when he sees that huge gap in front of him like any pass rusher would.

Q will be fine. The last thing we need to do is let him walk. DT just don’t generate the stats edge rushers do, when will we learn?

Our moron GMs chased Aaron Doland clones and fell short. Q is fine.

Quinnen's final stats on the year:

    36 tackles
    6 sacks
    7 TFL
    12 QB hits

    Compared to last year:

    32 tackles
    7 sacks
    10 TFL
    14 QB hits

He also played two more games this year than last.

So overall, a down year relative to last. I don't want to hear about the per-snap numbers because those are artificially inflated due to playing less snaps. Those seemingly efficient numbers would drop with more playing time due to fatigue.

Quinnen has been a massive letdown given his draft position. Every offseason we hear the same thing "This next year will be his breakout year. Just wait until we get more talent around him." AKA the same excuses we've heard ad nauseam for every single highly drafted DL we've had over the years. You don't take a guy 3rd overall if he needs an elite supporting cast to be good.

Josh Allen, who was available at our Quinnen pick, has had a better career thus far. It's not like we need an edge rusher or anything though right?
