    Again why Berrios?

Man is getting open and making plays, no other WR was on Sunday.

Albeit a tiny sample size Mims has flashed in very limited action. I don't want to hear all this ST's garbage. Get him on the field at outside WR, that's why he was drafted high. He'll go somewhere else and play. Shame.

Right. And if wesco was cut tomorrow mims still wouldn’t have a spot. The only person between mims and an active spot is Cole.

We still have him for 2 years after this. What’s the rush? Put the best players out there for Wilson and let mims get his practice reps. Next year more opportunities will open up for him.

Berrios is a smart slot WR…gets open, plays good on specials. He absolutely deserves a spot here.

Nice Pick play- The point you're missing on this is that Mims wouldn't be playing the Y in this set, Moore would be. Mims would have been in Moore's spot and Davis in his.
It's not an apples to apple comparison and was a nice play regardless.

Barrios, Moore, Crowder on the same roster is very redundant.

You cant teach what Mims has...

That's fine as long as Mims is willing to be patient and those "best players" are actually getting the job done. So far, they haven't. If the Cimini article had any basis in fact, then Mims' patience may be nearing its expiration date. He is used to starting and contributing and doesn't like sitting on the bench.

. He has no choice than to be fine with it. So what if his patients expires. He’s a 2nd year player that hasn’t really done anything. He’s not going to start chirping and get labeled a malcontent.

Like it’s been stated before it’s him or Cole and Cole can step in for any receiver and there not be a lot of change. If you sit Cole and activate mims there’s shuffling on every substitution so Cole gets the edge. If mims was far and away better this thread wouldn’t exist.

No thats' wrong. He did not "basically spell out" what would happen if Wesco was cut. That was your speculation

Mims 1 for 40 the week before. So, there was some change.... (1 less big play)

this is where Saleh's inexperience as a HC is showing. Boyer's been here a long time, probably has loud opinions, is used to getting 2 WR spots for "his" special teams, etc. I get it. But Saleh has got to step up and tell him sorry, we have a young QB and are struggling to score points, we need all the talent at WR we can get. Teach someone else to jog down the field for a probable touchback

except we still fail to see what mims adds. he's the same type of reciever as davis but davis is better and ZWs favorite WR. Imagine you are a rookie QB and your OC wants to take out your favorite target to give reps to a 4th stringer. not a great look there. jets aren't rotating. we are running with the top 3 every play and only subbing when they need a breather. cole can sub for any of the 3 which makes him valuable. you want mims active for the 2 snaps davis takes off over cole?

Cole has 16 offensive snaps Sunday not 2. So idk what you are rambling about. Although I do understand missing those snaps since he did nothing out there

the Jets often use formations with more than 1 WR by the way. So it is possible to have Davis and Mims both out there, not possible when Mims is inactive though

16 becuase he subbed in for all 3 WRs.

jets had 73 snaps on offense.
    moore 57
    davis 53
    berrios 43

    the subs
    cole 16
    smith 20

the point was mims replaces davis for his skill set. the coaches said he can't just sub in for any WR. he doens't know the playbook well enough (but it also could be his skill set) he isn't replacing moore, or berrios. cole can. not to mention when crowder comes back he'll have more snaps then anyone not named moore or davis. that leaves berrios time share small as it is. it makes sense to sub in 1 WR for anyone of the 3 then it does to have mims only sub in for davis. plus he doens't play special teams. it doens't make sense to have him active unless he can add something to the team other players can't or unless eh can beat out one of the top 3 for a main spot which he didn't.
