Somebody suggested killing Joe Namath to end some kinda curse. I thought that was a little extreme being only the second game and all...
Yeah, I'm done. This forum has so many shit posters that only show up when the Jets shit the bed. Fuck 'em.
Yeah, I'm not quite ready to say I'm done here, but it's amazing how many "geniuses" and "gurus" are coming out of the woodwork to say "I told you so!" after 2 freaking games. I joined the board to try and get a better understanding of 'inside football', and while I have gotten that, I'm now wondering if it's worth having to put up with the bullshit from "johnny come lately" posters.
It's fuckin insane. We have a 22 year old rookie QB. We have a rookie head coach. We have a rookie offensive coordinator. We had to rebuild an entire fuckin roster from the ground up. We are in week 2 of the first fuckin year, and this is where people are at? I swear, this fan base is filled with a bunch of fuckin morons. Zach Wilson has a horrible game and throws 4 picks. He's a God damn rookie in his 2nd game of his career coming off a week where he got anihlated every time he dropped back to pass. Suddenly he sucks and we should have kept Darnold? Everyone wants change but no one wants to go through the pains of change and the pains of growth.
Yes, the game thread was disgusting. Stupider crap I've never seen on this site. The ignorance and lack of knowledge of some posters here is nothing short of amazing. I've added 20 posters to my ignore list.
And btw, through the first 2 games, Zach Wilson has 468 yards, 2 TD, and 5 INT with a QB rating of 56.1 Lawrence has 450 yards, 4 TD, and 5 INT with a QB rating of 57.1 Funny, it's almost like these guys are rookies
I'm guessing there are issues with Mims that the Jets won't discuss. Maybe he has an attitude problem.
A game like this was expected, especially against the Patriots of all teams. The throws were horrible, I'm not going to take that away. But on his 2nd interception, they did a motion play to see if it was man or zone. I believe the patriots disguised their zone to look like man. It's hard to tell, but that's just a prediction of mine.
It was 100% on Wilson. There are ZERO excuses for his play. But this is part of the process. This is what occurs when a 22 year old rookie in his 2nd start of his career faces a top 5 defense and Bill Bilichick who has a history of destroying rookie qbs
It is really hard to take how many ignorant fans we have. I would bet most the people you speak of have never played a competitive sport in their life
I think it would have to be a ritual sacrifice to make aby difference. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
Of course they haven't. They're all armchair qbs who know exactly who to draft, who to play, who to cut, etc. They know it all.
I understand that. I'm just trying to figure out what he may have assumed pre-snap and if this was just another clever defensive disguise by Bill because he studied Zach Wilson's tendencies. Just like I said, the throws were horrible and should have not been attempted.
But that's who Mac Jones is and exactly why they drafted him. That's all Mac Jones is going to be. His ceiling is what you see. I don't want that. I don't want a QB that just dinks and dunks his entire career.
