If they do win, I'm thinking it will be a very ugly game. I think the Jets D can probably hold up against Mac Jones alright, but the Jets O will struggle.

BB is going to throw the kitchen sink at Zach, and I have a hard time believing he's going to have a good game. After seeing how the OL reacted last week, BB is going to send stunt after stunt until the Jets line proves they can stop it. I'm skeptical they'll be able to.

Bend don't break D and we will be okay. No big plays. Make them march down the field on long drives if they want 7s

That also means no drops, no TOs and no penalties. Calls aren’t going to go in our favor unless they’re blatant…even then. Maybe.

It’s doable…we just need to play some serious ball.

This game will be close but the p*ts will win and not cover the spread. I also expect a couple calls to go the P*ts way to solidify my prediction. League office is desperate for a new Br*dy to take the reigns.

That is my biggest fear. Mac Jones turns into Tom Brady redux and we're in for another 20 years of hell. Like Brady, Jones is a pure pocket passer with limited mobility, has a good arm, seems durable and is used to winning. The only question is whether he has Brady's brain.

Hot take.... Zach Wilson is a rookie and played like a rookie.

FYI, both Wilson and Lawrence have 5 INT in 2 games so far.

Many are disappointed that the Jets Qb couldn’t take off flying with all the weapons we have given him. I can see him struggling this bad with last years offense but they should be much a little better than what they have shown. I personally expected at least 14+ points today. It’s early obviously but I still expected more.

He's a rookie dude. He's going to have horrendous games like this.

Hot take: Zach expected to come out in front of the home crowd and wow them like he did at BYU and when it went to shit early on him, he began pressing and compounded things. But he he showed flashes of why he's going to be a good QB. He didn't hang his head or go into a shell like Sam did. He'll bounce back, but it's going to be an up and down learning experience for him. I'm just glad the OL and running game were MUCH better this week.

Yep. There are bad rookie games and then there's what happened today. Today's performance was unacceptable.

Not all bad games are created equal. His interceptions were all mostly unforced by pressure and just atrocious throws in terms of accuracy. That's the worry.

We can only hope. This team has a way of ruining QBs or just drafting the wrong ones. You’re way optimistic than most folks after seeing that disaster today.

I can accept a 3 INT game (he gets a pass on the 2nd INT) but I'm bemused why he was constantly throwing balls a foot over receivers heads, usually at jump-ball speed. I don't know what happened to his zip and accuracy in that game.

Lack of confidence after two throws and two INTs is what happened.

He wasn't gun-shy though. He was flaring the ball with terrible accuracy. I don't think it was a confidence issue especially in a 10-3 game despite the two throws/two picks.

If he was gun-shy and throwing the ball terribly late, I'd be inclined to agree.

Probably. Strange response though. I'd expect him to be throwing fast n' low after two interceptions.
