This I don't get. If Crowder says he's been healthy enough since Carolina why isn't he in there? I guess it could be that he missed a lot of practice but Zach could really use him this game. In fact, this matchup is built for a quick route receiver like Crowder. Did the new punter need his roster spot or something?
+1 This Mims saga has produced some of the dumbest takes in recent memory. It's unreal. We have people scratching their heads wondering why on earth we won't play a guy who doesn't know the playbook with a rookie QB.
It took a couple years before fans realized Stephen Hill sucked also. Same with Devin Smith. Fans get enamored with 40 times, and tend to think draft picks equate to starters. Once they realize a draft pick is not starting material, they go ruthless in the other direction tho lol.

Because there are at minimum 4 WR's who are clearly better than him. Davis, Moore, Crowder and Cole. With that in mind, Mims needs to take what he can get for playing time. That means knowing every position so that he can get as many opportunities as possible.
I would trade Mims for sure, as we could potentially still get value from a team thinking they can use him differently. Why trade Crowder tho? His contract over after the season, so what would we get, a 6th? How would that help Wilson? I’d be extending Crowder, not trading him for peanuts. Need to start supporting the QB, before JD sinks another one.
He's the fucking OC it has nothing to do with being homers, atm if a rookie player and a rookie OC are at loggerheads there will be only one winner and it won't be Mims. Nobody is hailing LaFleur as anything but the coach.

Cole?! who?! Cole is not better than Mims. The guy hasn’t even played a NFL game with the Jets. You haven’t even heard of the guy until JD signed him. Please stop making excuses for a coaching staff that at this point has not clue how to use the deepest part of the team. The offense line looked terrible, but yea that’s not coaching, just every player not knowing the positional units like back of their hand on game 1.
Hey, if the Mets can trade Wheeler, the Jets can trade Mims. No reason to jerk the kid around this early in his career. If this CS doesn't see a fit for Mims, then trade him and move on. Call me crazy, but I'm pretty sure there's an OC out there that can utilize Mims far better than LeFleur. I hope this CS does right by the kid and trades him but then again, this is a business and the "right thing" doesn't matter.
