Saw them in '94 touring Undertow. Smallish sized club in Ft Laud. Their show at the time was bare bones compared to now. Maynard front and center the whole time, nothing theatrical like now...

If you can see them on tour now with Staind, I promise you will not be let down. No Fieldy, but the dude filling in was stellar. Monkey and Head were both back...

The Dave Channel on XM is pretty good, also love classic rock, namely Fleetwood and Led Zep
Anything Anjunabeats related (Jason Ross, Illian Bluestone, Above & Beyond ect) Blackmill.... I like EDM too
Throw in some Tool, Jason Aldean and even a little Tori Amos

I just like all kinds of good music

This is turkish not kurdish, but i thought you might like this. This album is from the early 1900s recording Ottoman music/musical poetry. This song always sounded so beautiful and forlorn to me. It's my favorite on the album.

I'm digging it, but, I'm an admitted fanboy. There's a lot to take in, especially with the longer songs. It's definitely a grower.

I was a little concerned when I heard writing on the wall. But I’ve always found that the albums that take a few listens turn out to be the best ones.

I saw Maiden in 1985 at Radio City Music Hall. I love them. Stopped following them after I saw them live for the Fear of the Dark tour. It was simple for me. I thought their new shit sucked.

I heard this was a great album and I've always wanted to hear them make good music again. Listened to the first song and it wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great. They are just the one 80's metal band that has just aged terribly for me.

I love old Maiden, even the first two albums with Di'Anno. But they haven't put out a decent album in 20 years.

Nothing will ever compare to the old stuff. It was all new at the time, then trying to recreate it when it’s already been done is impossible.
But there’s some good stuff after fear of the dark. I loved brave new world. A lot of the others take a few listens to grow on you.

Totally, Brave New World was/is still awesome. Granted, I checked out on anything new after Live After Death, and would only listen to Piece of Mind through Powerslave when I needed my Maiden fix. A buddy turned me on to BNW and said I would love it, which I did...

I first saw Maiden open for Judas Priest in 1982(Glen Falls Civic Center). Great show.

I'm the complete opposite of you. I think they're one of the few metal bands that have aged well. They've become more progressive over the past 15 years, so, I guess it's not for everyone.

I remember seeing maiden live at rose land in the mid 90s with blaze Bailey. That was definetly the Adam gase era of maiden.
