Has to go. If Moses is much worse than whatever. Trade for something on that right side…Wilson is running so much and it’s awful for the kids development
There is no way you can watch this game and say this kid cant play, he has all the tools. WE just gotta do right by him and get some fuckn protection ASAP
To be sacked this many times and being thrown to the floor over and over is so sad, and we do nothing to get extra protection.
Fatboi was pretty much useless on that left side today. Fant was just as bad on the right side. I hope the CS sees this and make the obvious adjustment as the OL looked a lot better without Fatboi in .
I can see him running a food truck at a downtown location. He'd have to avoid eating his food stocks.
I dont mean to single you out here but these types of post just aren’t realistic. What team is giving up a tackle or guard worth a high pick in week 1 or at all during a season?
Also, the Jets are not one year away from contention. More likely they might contend in 2023 if Wilson is good enough. In that situation you keep your picks and keep building. Acquiring a 28 year old OL right now just means they are 30 and on the bubble in 2023 when the Jets need them to be 25 and on the way up, alongside Wilson.
JD has to do something for this OL and fast Zach Wilson is going to get killed. Like literally. Death.
This is another of the reasons you want a vet QB in the huddle early on as you are installing the offense. The guy needs to be able to call out the OL and motivate them to get it right next time. No rookie QB can do that. I don't mean singling out a guy either. I mean telling it like it is to the OL as a whole and getting them all in on fixing the problem so it doesn't happen again. Group dynamics work best in fixing a problem before it mushrooms.
He will never in a million years get his lad level low enough to block 3 and 5 techniques in the running game. I don't care how strong he is. He's a tackle or nothing. I can't ever think of a 6'8" guard unfortunately.
