Its kind of funny, I notice there are a lot of times with Saleh in his pressers he says something where he hesitates for a second because he thinks he may be giving up private info….then he goes “OK, I’ll just go ahead and say it, …..” Its very funny. He’s good with the media, but this is is one little quirk.
I've noticed that, and have wondered if he is not doing that intentionally to make it seem like he's letting the media "in".
Why temper your enthusiasm? If he is as wise as we think, the wins will come. It may take a year or two, but they will come.
No they wouldn't. Mangini and Tannenbaum would come closer to having something to say about that as they were the ones who built the team that Rex benefitted from for two years. Even after his 1st season, he began dismantling that team, and continued after his second, and then the team fell apart.
What's concerning me about the coaching is that RBs are not picking up the blocks. OL, I understand hasn't gelled much, but they should be doing better than they are. I mean we had 2 top picks available, a Center who looked good towards the end of last year, one of the highly rated RTs in Moses, whom the coaches didn't even start. I get it takes time, but this looked worse than Gases OLs with less talent (at least on paper). Even now they should be better than what we have seen. Couldn't run anything, were predictable. Overall I have to say offense looked like they don't know what they are doing. Two good drives all game, and mainly because of Zach. If not for Zach we are getting shut out and blown out in a violent way. Heck, we ended up with Zack hit head on full speed. Coaches need to change things in a major way and do that VERY quickly or we will be left without a QB in a year or two.
It may take a year and then it will, or will not come. Wishing and hoping doesn't feed the bulldog. That's why enthusiasm gets tempered - “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”
