I’d like to see Johnson as main back, with Carter doing 3rd down work.
Perrine and Coleman look like stiffs to me.

Again according to Nania, both Carter and Perrine got good pass blocking grades in college but Coleman has gotten really good pass blocking grades at the pro level. I have to imagine Coleman starts the year as the 3rd down back.

If Carter shows he can pass block, it will be his job, as he offers so much more versatility and play making ability than Coleman.

Otherwise I’ll agree, pass blocking dependability will determine those snaps, and that could be Coleman.

Then I have mistakenly implied an influence that was not there. My bad. My point wasn't REALLY that you were swallowing a concoction concocted by OTHERS.

\It's a very sunshiney POV. I sense/feel a warmth, but i'm still partly cloudy, so to speak. ;-)

Are we ready for some FB? I am and while I am wary about W-L etc., I think we have the right CS here to get the bets out of our players even if they are average or below...

Listen, anything is better than the last two year shit show this franchise put on. I am actually looking forward to the real season w/o the dreaded "SOJ" hope for the best but expect the worst!

Smile Gents ( I am while I am typing this) and buckle-up cause its gonna be a helluva a ride this year!

Perrine is our short yardage back when healthy. Saleh has addressed that as such. Not sure they will dress 4 rbs so it’s going to be interesting who’s inactive week to week if they are all healthy. I’d say perrine but who knows.

I feel the same way about Wilson that I felt about Sam.

My difference in gut feeling right now stems from Douglas and mainly Saleh. When was the last time the Jets had a coach that even SPOKE like how Saleh does? I think he's a true leader of men and teacher of the game, but only time will tell.

Wow and written by Cimini. The only possible motive is Cimini knows we discovered that he is Ralebird and everyone knows Ralebird would never write anything positive about Zach or the Jets for that matter. But then the same could be said for Cimini.

Actually, what I think Cimini/Ralebird is doing is just trying to give himself some cover so he can attack Zach at the first sign of trouble. Cimini/Ralebird tried really hard all camp to discredit Zach and twist things in the worst possible light. But, at some point Zach did so well that the lie become so unbelievable and Cimini/Ralebird had to change tactics. But remember Cimini/Ralebird argued strongly against drafting Zach and wrote the Jets would regret getting rid of Sam. The first chance he gets to discredit Zach and proclaim he was right he will take it. Cimini/Ralebird was the original Mehta and the smarter Mehta but like Mehta he us a slave to his own ego and that will dictate what and how he writes.

If Perine is the short-yardage back, wouldn't he always have to be active? Similarly, if Coleman is the 3rd down back, he'll have to always be active if healthy. Thus, if they do have to inactivate one RB each week, that could alternate between Carter and Johnson.

No problem. It's easy to misunderstand/misconstrue what someone else says on a message board because we don't know each other, can't hear inflection, see body language, and we all use language differently.

By nature, I'm a very optimistic, positive person except for early in the morning before I've had my coffee. I'll admit my perspective on the Jets is very sunshiney. I'm happy to be that way. During much of the last 20 years, I have been more of a darksider than sunshiner or homer, and I didn't like having to feel that way.

I understand. They deserve skepticism. I was prepared to be skeptical this year even though I believed in JD. I didn't know that the Johnsons would allow JD to hire the new HC, that we'd get the right HC, or that we'd wind up with Zach. Initially, I didn't want Saleh, but am glad I was wrong. If we had wound up with one of the former offensive coordinators I wanted, I probably wouldn't be anywhere near as optimistic/sunshiney as I am now. If we hadn't taken Zach, but instead had taken Fields or traded down, I probably wouldn't be optimistic at all.

    I did.

I'm just waiting for the whiners to slam the guy again based on nothing other than the fact that he is not on the same page of lollipops and rainbows they want everyone to be on.

I don't know about what Cimini wrote because I don't read any tweets unless I see them repeated here, but I know bullshit when I see it and you have put yourself at the top of the heap of bullshit artists..

I challenge you, here and now, to substantiate your claim that I "tried really hard all camp to discredit Zach and twist things in the worst possible light." It's time for you to put up or shut up and should be very easy for you to quote a single thing I have posted to support this line of bullshit if such a thing was true. You could also support your claim that I "argued strongly against drafting Zach" or that "the Jets would regret getting rid of Sam." Have at it!

Alternatively, you could simply admit you don't give the smallest crap about truth or honesty and you're simply in a snit and spewing pure, unadulterated bullshit because I won't share your irrational exuberance until there is reason to and it is no longer irrational.

    Your move, chump.
