It doesn't matter what position he plays. His career losing record and 0-3 postseason record just goes to show that his teams "fighting in training camp".... Accomplished absolutely nothingness.
The best teams arm their linemen with shivs and and encourage them to stick each other in the piles to get blooded for the real competition ahead.
When did training camp fights amongst teammates = "WINS". Because Marcellus Wiley is preaching teammates fighting teammates as if that'll = wins despite the fact his teams lost despite TRAINING CAMP FIGHTS. What are you not understanding?
What was Marcellus the media hack Wiley saying about the important of "training camp fights" again? Because the Jets just dominated the Giants within every statistical category known to football mankind and for 4 quarters strong too. C.J. Mosley: "People sleeping on the Jets? People come with that same mentality and they're going to get their ass blown out and that's 100% @ JetLife or anywhere else". How's that for FIRE?
Geno got his jaw broke because he owed money and dissed the uber-cut LB in the locker room he owed it to. This was not a practice brawl by any stretch. Just some disrespect that got dealt with.
Oh, man, I'll never forget when that happened, I laughed (in disbelief that is). My rabid Jets fan friend, Vinnie, texted me, I went, "Wait, what?" More laughing in disbelief. There were some rumblings in the very beginning that Enemkpali could be brought up on assault charges for sucker punching Geno Smith, but that was before more was known. No charges materialized. If I recall, Enemkpali fronted Geno $600 for a round trip plane ticket to a football camp Enemkpali was hosting and Geno didn't show up for "personal reasons". So Geno owed him the $600 plus an apology but was unapologetic and glib about it and made no attempt to return the money. In the locker room (and accounts vary if I also recall), Geno stuck his finger in Enemkpali's face and said something along the lines of yeah, well, what're you gonna do about it, buddy. Broken face. Of course Enemkpali was cut on the spot and then Rex signed him in Buffalo. Only the Jets, haha.
The Jets hire a head coach who is known for discipline and accountability and the team not only doesn't get in fights but really didn't have a ton of dumb penalties in their first preseason game that had 30 Jets players who had never before played in preseason. This was one of the things I thought was interesting with Saleh, he's a player's coach but also inspires them to act like men. Rex was a player's coach but he was also a fat undisciplined loudmouth who did not expect his guys to act any older than the age of 13, and they were always fighting and always drawing flags. This team is emulating their leadership.
I sold men's clothing starting in college for around 8 years, and even managed a men's boutique store that was part of a family-owned chain. I know how a man's suit is supposed to fit, and Acho's does not begin to fit correctly, so you wise asses can suck it.
Spot on! When you make posts like this, you are golden and one of the best posters on the forum. I wish you made more like this, and less of the other types.
