Think he will only play 2 series? That would be a major mistake imo. He has zero experience and zero competition for the starting gig. There’s only 3 preseason games, he should play at least an entire half. Is the plan to start him game 1 with no live reps and just hope for the best?
He looked OK, only took 1 deep shot I believe. Mostly dink and dunk, Detroit and AZ had some decent drives but mostly backups. Rondale Moore looked fast and sharp, kinda how I expected Elijah to look if he was playing.
Heineke for WFT looks real good. He looked good in the playoffs last season. Probably botched the spelling lol. I watched him at ODU because my son went there, he beat VT in a big upset, played lights out.
Its the first preseason game so there is no point expecting much. I think he will get more than 1 first down though. IMO they will keep it simple, with a lot of high percentage throws, and maybe one downfield chance. For the starters this is barely above the offense vs defense drill last Saturday. The one real test for Wilson tonight is that there will be no red jersey. This is our first looks at NFL Zach where he can actually be hit. How much will that factor in? The more interesting part is watching the battle for the #2 spot. Its a Morgan/White showdown.
If Wilson throws a 6 yard completion on a 3rd and 7? The entire coaching staff needs to be evaluated!

You know how in the MLB when they’re playing a doubleheader and the guy switches jerseys between games? If the giants sign one of the jets backups and put him 1 on the depth chart it could happen!
So I saw some mentions of Jarrad Davis calling the defensive signals from the helmet radio exclusively, and the way they have the depth chart stacked on the roster card that Cimini tweeted earlier it looks like Davis in the middle, but that might not mean anything. Still, I'm guessing we may be seeing some of Davis starting the season at MLB with Mosley at SLB.
Yeah, I remember noticing that on the depth chart. Should be interesting. Mosley lost weight and seems to be faster, which is good, because he will need to be in this defense.
If the Giants are truly playing only 2nd and 3rd stringers, I don't expect them to get anywhere near scoring against the Jets #1 defensive starters.
