You can make money doing your hobby, without question. I work with people that aren’t as good as that and they are making pretty decent money. Looking forward to more.
I think it's just the nature of the beast. Some posters are so beaten down, have been disappointed so many times, that they're tired of feeling like fools for getting frustrated/disappointed yet again. In one way, it's the healthy side of their nature trying to protect their heart/psyche. It disposed them to not seeing any positives, or if they do see them, makes them reluctant to say anything as it might jinx things or they might wind up having to eat their words yet again about that player, or that situation, etc. They need a place to vent. We just have to be a little more compassionate and patient with them. After all, with Jets history, they could be right. It could all turn to shit again at any moment. The death of Greg Knapp gave me pause and made me start wondering if indeed if this franchise is cursed.
I would be more worried if every practice was like this. But this is a mixed bag, which is expected from a rookie. There are good days and bad days. Even when the regular season rolls, I fully expect some struggles as well as some good games. It's a process that will take some time, definitely at least year, or maybe even more. So far Zach has literally had a week of NFL training camp. We gotta be a bit more patient.
I agree, my friend. I was talking to myself as much as K'OB or anyone else. I've let others' posts get to me too much in the past, and am trying to change. I'm trying to be more accepting of others' viewpoints even if I think those viewpoints are nuts and lacking in rationality. I'm trying to be a kinder, gentler poster and person. There's enough anger and hatred in this world. We need more compassion, more understanding, more peace.
My plan is to not do that any more. I will let posters have their delusions or whatever. Sorry if I have offended or bothered you in the past with my responses to you or others.
Only saw a few "highlight" clips from last night, so I can't really judge off that. I'll take Zach's own assessment as gospel - that he didn't do very well. But, as I've said before, one of my favorite quotes is from Will Rogers: "Experience may be the best teacher, but the best way to get experience is to make mistakes". The harder the practices and scrimmages, the more he's going to be able to make mistakes in a controlled environment and learn, so last night was a good thing. But despite the fact that he was obviously disappointed in himself, I watched his presser afterwards and I'm encouraged by how he handles adversity. Great job on the video! My only criticism (constructive) is that the music is too loud at around 1:29 (where Saleh can barely be heard through the music) and going forward, and then again at around 2:50 where the announcements of the Jets drafting Moore and Carter. The spoken word should always have precedence over background music. Otherwise, this is definitely on a high professional level. You might want to consider this for a career. Videographers can make a lot of money.

That almost INT wasn't really on Zach. Someone up front missed their assignment (Wesco?) - or its a terribly designed play.

"Normal posts" are those that exhibit what the writer wants to talk about. Why should anyone be pressured as to what they write? Certainly there are some here who need to be brought down to earth with a dose of reality from time to time. Somebody compared Saleh to Hall of Fame coaches yesterday. At best, that is ten years premature.
