Yes, the Olympic teams consists of players under 23 years old with couple "over-aged" players mixed in. Olympics are more of an amateur competition
Quite the opposite, the most successful they have been for 55 years - to the day. Which makes them only slightly worse than the Jets over that period of time.
I have a strangely masochistic perversion I think! That and I keep telling myself it will be extra special when it happens. Not if, when.
Okay @K'OB , you stole (not really a steal for 100M£) Grealish away from us. Days like these I just hate football. He was supposed to lead Villa back to glory days, instead he, like all youth nowadays it seems, wanted instant gratification. He didn't have the patience to build gradually with his childhood club. Of course it could never materialize with Villa, but he would have become a club legend, there would have been a statue of him outside Villa Park had he stayed. But damn he didn't... He is exceptional football player, his natural skill is the best that Villa has had in my years following them (since '95). I think many City fans doesn't appreciate him that much yet, thinking 100M is too much, but give him a chance and he'll show you he's worth every penny. Gongrats on getting an awesome player, treat him well.
I feel your loss. We had SWP leave for Chelsea to stop us from going bankrupt all those years ago. I will appreciate Jack as I think he is a cracking player and the thing is he will only get better once Pep has fiddled with him lol
Burnley to win the premier League. All other clubs are going to get a 80 points reduction for being weak and feeble Sent from my M2007J20CG using Tapatalk
Their decline started the moment when they ousted Wenger. Bad manager appointments since, even worse player recruitment. Now there's something brewing in the background, both their starting strikers fell mysteriously ill and were left out, rumour has it they want out. Arsenal is in trouble this season, my bet is Arteta is the first manager getting the sack.
Not following Arsenal lately so no idea what's going on but tons of no names starting. You are right about Wenger. Problem wasn't sacking him, it was not replacing him properly.
You could actually argue that the problems started even before Wenger left, after they built the new stadium they had to start to pay out the loans they took to finance it resulting less money to buy good players. That has started the vicious circle down the drain.
