Why was Ray Lucas our QB?

    I think Parcells was the best coach we ever had. Coach. As far as GM goes, that's debatable. What's not debatable is that before he got here the Jets were the laughingstock of the NFL. He brought us immediate respectability.

    I understand where you’re coming from but I feel as if he didn’t finish the job. 3 years? I know Testaverde got hurt but he really should have stuck around at least another year.

    On paper he was the best coach in Jets history But you can’t forget Weeb - yes he finished under .500 due to Namath's injuries but he did win the big one.

    Egotistical Bill Parcells is the biggest reason Peyton Manning spurned the Jets and stayed in school. Google it.

    Bill wanted no part of either grooming a Rookie QB nor having said QB take the attention off HIM as the reason for winning. The Devil in Disguise.

    His recommendation of Bradway??? Same as his "recommendation" of Handley years earlier. LOL
