3 Pro Bowl's and 3 All-Pros in 4 years. But yeah I'm really glad we got two 1st round picks for him. Vera-Tucker and 2022's 1st is pretty exciting. PS: We as a fan base shouldn't nit pick his 2 INTs when a supposed ball hawking FREE SAFETY in Marcus Maye only has 6 INTS through 4 years (with seasons of only 2, 1, 1 and 2); which is pretty pathetic (for a FS). But yeah, Joe Douglas did an awesome job of receiving two 1st(s) and already using one of them on a LG in Alijah Vera-Tucker in order to play alongside of Mekhi Becton (LT) and with Seattle's 2022 I'd love to turn him into another O-Lineman Tyler Linderbaum #1 rated Center within the Country out of Iowa. LT: Mekhi Becton. LG: Vera-Tucker (Jamal). C: Tyler Linderbaum (Jamal). RT: Morgan Moses. Looks 'sexy'.
Adams can play... but he's not ALL THAT getting the ball just ain't his thing Maye is almost always late... people want Revis to go to the HOF. Bill fucking Baird the New York Jet career INT leader had more INTs
Interesting article on CBS - Marcus Maye makes it into the top 10 safeties but Adams does not! https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...nn-mathieu-headline-talented-defensive-backs/
I'm ok with Marcus Maye now. It's just that over the years as an FSU fan I've been disgusted with Maccagnan taking a FS Marcus Maye over #4 Dalvin Cook @ RB (just as I understand fans of Mahomes and Watson hating the Jamal Adams pick). But now that we've drafted Michael Carter who reminds me of a Dalvin Cook clone (in terms of style of play and quickness) I'm cool with Marcus Maye as our FS. Actually looking forward to him under coach Saleh. My only concern with Marcus Maye is only having 6 career INTs (2, 1, 1, 2) while heading into his 5th year despite having the privilege of roaming Centerfield as a supposedly BALL HAWKINS FREE SAFETY. Jets fans have literally harped all over a Strong Safety's lack of INT but yet have completely ignored a FREE SAFETY @ a ball hawking position lack of INTs in Marcus Maye? Hypocritical, to say the least. In closing. Cool. PFF thinks Maye had a better 2020 than Adams. But then why isn't Joe Douglas able to unload the ass of Marcus Maye with two 1st round picks and a 3rd? Because I guarantee no team would even give up a 2nd round pick for a non ball hawking FS soon to be 30 years old...
Thank God Seattle was stupid enough to trade what they did for Adams. And I agree. The chances of another team being that stupid are small.
Wow, the latest on Adams is Gold! He is a beautiful and unique snowflake. https://www.profootballrumors.com/2021/07/latest-on-seahawks-jamal-adams Thank you Joe Douglas, and more importantly....thanks to you John Schneider, Pete Carroll and the entire Seahawks org!
This should be an easy signing for the hawks. Offer him whatever and tell him he’s the highest paid Jamal Adams in the league.
Trading him was always the right decision when your roster was as bad as the Jets. You do not build your team around a safety no matter if if he is an ass or not. The picks were more valuable than Jamal for the Jets at this time.
Pretty funny to think this guy propped himself up as some great leader during his time with us. He's one of the most selfish players in the NFL.
And that was my biggest problem with him from the get go. He's the type of guy that wouldn't give a shit if he hamstrung his team's salary cap forever as long as he got paid what he wanted. He's a selfish piece of shit. That said, this couldn't happen to a better guy than Pete Carroll. Fuck that guy.
Seahawks reportedly “not budging” on latest contract offer to Jamal Adams https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.c...ging-on-latest-contract-offer-to-jamal-adams/
