THAT'S DENZEL NOT DENVER...DAMN AUTO CORRECT. Administrator please fix the spelling. Sometimes we forget how good Mims really is due to the lack of usage towards the end of the season. I feel Zach will spread the ball around which will mean more targets for Mims. One of Zack's favorite targets last year was Gunner Romney, same size as Mims, & he wasn't afraid to put the ball up knowing Gunner would win those 50-50 balls. Also a lot of back shoulder routes. This is rite up Mims alley. Can't wait to see Zach spreading the ball around to all his targets.....damn what a WR turn around from past years. And a QB that knows how to use them.
We can only hope that when it’s all said and done, his career highlight video doesn’t include any of those plays.
I knew what happened the second I read the thread title. If you meant to type the Denver Broncos it probably would have autocorrected to the Denzel Broncos, haha. It's infuriating.
Mims hasn't even scratched the surface of his potential yet. Hope he stays healthy, because if he does, he could be our best WR in years. I think the other weapons will help him too. Davis on one side, Moore and Crowder in the middle, it will be tough to cover them all. My hope is Mims becomes a true #1 WR and I think he can.
I once saw a rare video on NatGeo of a troop of baboons taking down a giraffe. These highlights kind of... yeah.
At least when fans start to chant, "Mims!" it won't sound like, "Bums!" Leave it to some group of wise-guys to start screaming, "Bims!", though. I've known fellers like that.
Mims told coach Saleh he read on TGG that he's already a superstar #1 WR and therefore has no need for OTAs!
Some really nice catches in there. He reminds me a little of Al Toon, in the way he isn't quick, but has some speed and some nice moves. He has a similar galloping running style. He was very often able to make the first man miss, or at least prevent him from laying a solid hit on him. All he really lacks is that blazing speed to get away from defenders and turn a good play into a great play, but he has real potential.
All the Video shows was just him as a Possession receiver when if I am not mistaken he was supposed to be a Burner??? It seems that Gase used him poorly
He has a lot to prove. He said he was the best WR in his class when he was drafted. Of the WR's drafted in the first two rounds in 2020 he came out near the bottom in production. Of course, there were reasons for that, but he still needs to put the numbers where his mouth is.
I do believe that between his injuries and Gase play calling he was not used to his strengths much last year. But what I was pleasantly surprised to notice in this video is his quickness/shiftiness after the catch and ability to accelerate out of blocks. Very impressive and could play a big role in our new offense.
Adam Gase used everyone poorly. I'm telling you, Daisy, that guy was the worst. Who is Daisy? Probably a dog that he killed and ran over on a 4th & 1. I try to distance myself that it wasn't really that bad. It was that goddamn bad.
