First Defensive player taken ... well that was a long wait haha

 

I could see penciling this guy in here before the draft but I think better players dropped to us that we should have taken over the safety.

I also think we could have gotten him at 153.

Hopefully JD sees something that I am missing.

 

At this stage it doesn't hurt to add talent all around. Our DBs can use more depth.

 

We can't have two Miami TE's on the roster.

 

As for TE, I still think Herndon will be a great fit in this offense...I know a lot of fans aren’t high on him anymore but he’s pretty talented, just needs to keep his head on straight. Maybe Saleh and a new start will help that

Looking like he was drafted as a coverage LB/ Nickel S. Maybe a better Eric Smith?

Weird, the guy who still has a Sam Darnold avatar questions drafting a QB.

People who clamor to trade down every draft shows me they aren't skilled at identifying talent. They'd rather have 100 shots at it than have the best pick to take the player they believe in most. Not being happy about trading up for AVT is further evidence choosing quantity over quality.

 

Surely got to be some reason, there have been some big fallers throughout this draft.
