But Perine was a 4-5th round talent. Carter is 3-4th.

I agree. But by 144 its becoming dart board time. Lets take one in our next two picks and hope one hits.

Carter is a better prospect than Perine... Not even close imo

As long as he won't be Gore on D(vet who's washed and takes away playing time from the young guys).

I would package our late 4th and another pick if Cox keeps falling.

I hope so. My point was they were both taken about the same position. Perine at 120, and Carter at 108.

If one of them is still available I would take Cox, Rumph or Gowan with our next pick. Or one of the Tulane LB'ers.

Love Carter but j aloud watching Hudson's highlight tape. True road grader.

The Browns have been doing this right for several years. One of the best rosters in the NFL.

I get it but Carter had a 2nd or 3rd round grade. Perine was 4/5

Interesting that our HC has worked the Defense his whole career but we haven't sniffed a Defensive player in Four Rounds!!!

Saleh must know he can work a lot of magic with the present D Roster, free agents, plus some less talented later round players

Then Douglas will get him some Training Camp slide offs in August

    I like the Plan unfolding

He also game-planned against this offense last year. Speaks volumes of the direction the draft has gone thus far...

I don’t think Sherman is going to be an option. He’s going to go somewhere he can contend. He said he’s been in talks with four teams and none of them were the Jets. that’s OK though because I have a sneaking suspicion that we will end up signing Nelson as early as tonight. He is a starter and if we can get CB2 quality play out of Hall or Austin then that’s more than enough of a Band-Aid to get us to next year we have for premium picks.

Sherman's bests years are behind him. He wont be worth what he is asking.
