I get that the league as a whole is down offensively but this is ridiculous.

I really hate watching this team.

 

What the fuck is the matter with these idiots? They look like they've never held a bat in their lives.

 

deGrom sucks, I can't believe he can't hit a couple of HR's to help his own cause.

this team is pathetic. I keep telling myself, "it's early".

 

deGrom's ERA is down to 1.99 since 2018. The Mets' record in those games is 38-43.

Opposing teams have a 1.53 ERA in deGrom's starts this year.

 

Mets getting shut out again tonite so far...

If you believe that a hitting coach actually has the ability to do anything, it's Chili Davis who is costing himself his job. This is hitting incompetence at the highest level.

 

I don’t believe that. This is on them and he’s gonna be the one held responsible. Something is gonna have to give though.

 

Then what exactly do you think a hitting coach does? If the entire team is hitting incredibly poorly, how is the hitting coach blameless?

 

I think hitting/pitching coach are often times scapegoats. Though I just did a google search and Cubs comes to mind. Maybe it is him. Bring someone else in I don’t care. This can’t continue.

 

Hopefully, the Dom Smith incident will fire up this anemic offense.
