Yes! But only if they move Jeopardy to Manhattan. NY has smarter ppl than the Left Coast anyway so it could be a win win!
One can dream right? Will move this to NFL Forum later on but let's folks a chance to dream a day or two.
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/31359453/aaron-rodgers-want-return-green-bay-packers-sources-say Reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers is so disgruntled with the Green Bay Packers that he has told the organization that he does not want to return to the team, league and team sources told ESPN on Thursday. The Packers are aware of his feelings, concerned about them and have had team president Mark Murphy, general manager Brian Gutekunst and head coach Matt LaFleur each fly out on separate trips to California to meet with Rodgers at various points this offseason, sources told ESPN. Their overtures were re-buffed each time by Rodgers and his camp, sources say.
We can only hope that the Packers GM is the only other GM who thought James Morgan was an NFL-caliber QB.
Rumor is they refused the 3 from San Fran so doubt it’s happening. I’d give the Seattle picks for him though
Not too late to trade the 2nd overall pick for his services!! having said that: what a douchebag Rodgers is. Gotta overshadow the draft by making it about himself
While he is a great QB and future HOF he is also 37. Unless the Jets can win it all in the next 2-3 years it makes no sense to trade for him.
Nah, this one is on ESPN. This has been going on for months and now ESPN is running with it. The timing is not coincidental.
If im the Jets I would do the trade, however I dont think Rodgers would want to play here. He probably wants to get to San Fran.
aaron rodgers, "douchebag"?!! I think u misread him, BrowningNagle. He is as humble and sincere and genuine and unpretentious as they come.
We just saw Tom Brady go to a different team. If the Jets got 4 years out of Rodgers, it would be worth it. He gives the Jets a shot to go to the Super Bowl for the next 4 years.
I mean we all know theres 0.00000% chance Rodgers even wants to play here, let alone actually would get traded here right?
Brady is a freak of nature. What is he 44 or 45 and he is still giving Father Time the middle finger. I don't think Rodgers would decline as fast as Peyton did since he doesn't have a serious neck injury like Peyton did. But at 37 how many more great/good years does he have left.
Can't hurt to talk to GB, but given the state of our roster, Rodgers is worth more to a team like the 49ers than he is to us.
