I did a low trade (only 1 and a realistic one) draft and tried to stay on the side of realism. This draft is really strong in rounds 3 and 4 so trading down in the 2nd makes a lot of sense to me for extra mid rounders
it was a weird one because jax took sewell 1st overall so I stuck with wilson to be realistic because we all know he is the pick and jax is taking tlaw.

for the other 1st I really want collins if he makes it to 23. can start at OLB as a rookie and even slide down to DE on 3rd down to rush the passer in nickel and dime sets adding more depth to LBer and d-line.

in the 2nd round i liked what was left so I traded down a few spots and was still able to land vera tucker who can start at LG for us letting lewis start at RG and we can cut GVR for the savings. the left side of our line should be strong with becton , vera tucker, and mcgovern. right side is still just ok with lewis and fant but we have future picks and money to build on that. should be fine for 2021

in round 3 I needed to address CB badly so I took the top on the board on joseph. seems like a JD player and can grow into a CB1. more tlaent then a typical 3rd rounder but only payed 20 games in college and has been up and down. still the talent is there to be a CB1 in a couple of years

with the extra 3rd rounder I was able to grab mcgrone who should provide depth at MLB (we don't even have a backup for mosley right now) as well as take over the starting MLB role in the future

last 3rd round pick I grabbed brevin jordan. he was there and can make a great 2 TE set with herndon and push herndon. we can also release griffin and save money and keep kroft and brown as the depth guys

in round 4 I grabbed wiggins. he's a personal favorite of mine. reminds me of tyrann mathieu. greta locker room guy and an athletic freak. can add depth to our safety group and be an eventual starter

in round 5 I grabbed schwartz. We did need a WR. I like eskridge more and atwell but the jets are linked to schwartz and we need a speedster. i'll trust JD on this one because I don't see him being that impressive on film personally

last 3 picks are depth picks. I added a 3rd LBer since we have 0 backups to our starting 3 and our starting 3 consists of an oft injured 5th rounder in year 3, a guy who hasn't played in 2 years and never played in our system, and a former 1st round bust on a 1 year deal in free agency. The diea is the rookies provide depth his year (except collins who starts over cashman) and next year likely mcgrone and collins start and we move on from mosely. fields is a depth guy, special teamer, probably never a starter but it's late in the draft. Griffin is a developmental CB. same way we took hall last year in the 6th. he's tough and competitive and plays the ball well and has shown the ability to play zone properly. last pick is an o-lineman who probably never starts but offers versatility of depth that can fill in at any spot but C here and there.

This was on TDN, and didn't turn out quite as I had hoped, as I didn't get a DE at all, or a TE or RB earlier, but it certainly should fix the OL, help the secondary, and I'd be very happy with it, I think. What I don't know is if some of these prospects are underrated or overrated at this point.

Tyler Linderbaum is a must for the Jets, love the player, our center is awful. With Russell Wilson returning with the Seahawks, expect the pick to be in the mid to late teens.
Hutch, IMO, is the best defensive player in this draft.

I'd like to add another WR, I think 3 of the wideouts will be gone (Mims, Crowder & possibly Cole). Never been a Mim's fan, hated the pick, he's proving me right.

I'm a huge Breece Hall fan (Iowa State) , and would love to add him to our backfield, with an early rd 3 pick
