At the very least 3 QB's are getting taken in the top 10 and there's a decent shot 4 will be taken. Why would we want the last of the scraps when we can have our choice of all but 1 of them as it stands? We already have 21 draft picks over the next 2 drafts, 7 of which are in the first 2 rounds. It would not make sense to trade down and limit our selection of QB's.
Hmm, I think you are risking everything on some draft luck in that scenario, do you want to be left with Mac Jones after #10 I think we can lock in TL - Jags ( I think we take Wilson #2) 49ers are taking one, Atlanta is a big possibility, Bengals - Sewel, Phins? Lions could sit one for a season, Panthers - not, Denver - QB Which team is trading us for the number 2 out of those so we stay in the top 10? I would take Bridgewater to guide a new QB myself, I was just asking your plan, the fact the 49ers have traded their farm away and now the Panthers have a QB, there isn't a lot of trading down to be done, maybe Denver? If we wanted to trade back we would have traded to the 49ers, no deal is coming that betters that one imo of course
I do think he's the best QB in the class, but it wouldn't shock me if JD doesn't take him - maybe takes Fields, or even trades back.

Also, this has to be considered a BIG WIN for the Jets, considering the fact that they netted 3 draft pics for Darnold, including a 2nd rounder! That is a better than expected haul for a guy who had question marks coming out of SC and who has been nothing but a BUST since arriving in NY.
Douglas continues to keep everyone guessing. Great trade, getting 3 picks, including a second next year. So, we know fairly certainly that he's going to draft a QB, but who and when? Or will he shock all of us and pull a Watson or R. Wilson out of his ass? That last possibility is very remote, but again, with Douglas, who really knows? I guess we're getting our money's worth this off-season.
Can't wait for the deranged ex effect goes into play next season, waiting for Darnold to throw a pick, see he just sucks, or if he does well, see we just needed a offensive minded coach
