haha thanks REVISion. I figured that with the good group of guys we have on this board, and their collective sense of humour, that we would get some pretty good responses to this thread title. The fellas definitely haven't disappointed. I love the one about Hack breaking windows trying to show kids how to throw the deep post, haha.

My point exactly.. Probably a great kid personably, but one God Awful QB. He just might make a great coach/mentor as a roadmap of what NOT to do.

Not at all a stretch - every time an ex-athlete appears in a headline they were a star: "EX-NFL STAR IN DWI CRASH!" So you read to the second to last paragraph and find out it was a guy who played three games on special teams for the Cardinals twelve years ago and has been selling furniture and used cars since because "SALESMAN IN DWI CRASH" just doesn't quite sizzle.

Here’s how that 2016 draft night should of gone down:

Phone rings at the Hackenberg house..

    Hack: Hello?
Mac: Greetings Mr Hackenberg this is the New York Jets calling. We’re gonna draft you at #51 and.......
Hack: Already? Isn’t this too soon?
    Mac: Huh?
Hack: I’m nowhere near second round talent- I couldn’t hit the side of the barn. I’m more of a sixth round talent.
Mac: ( choking on his 23rd cup of coffee) But .....uh....yeah well.....uh...
Hack: Why don’t you call me back ...say in the 6th round? I’ll still be here. Just think it’ll cost you a hell of a lot less money and embarrassment. I’m a hell of a clipboard holder and I can promise you the Jets will always win that fourth preseason game with me in command! Spend this pick on another position....ok?
    CLICK

Now that would be one hell of a draft story !

Many marginal coaches have coached the Jets...

Well, he wasn't much of a QB by NFL standards. And to think the Jets game him a chance to start over drafting Watson or Mahomes!

It certainly seems as though he's the much better private citizen than Watson at this point.
