    Cowboys: Romo confirms Underwood relationship

    Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo confirmed on Wednesday that he is dating country music star and American Idol winner Carrie Underwood. He broke the news to the Journal Gazette/Times-Courier in Charleston, Illinois.

    Believe it or not, I'm going out with Carrie Underwood. Yes, it's me, Tony Romo. I am THE FUTURE of the Dallas Cowboys. Word around the locker room is that no one likes me because I focus more on Carrie than winning the games. The guys have no idea what it's like, coming in to replace a guy like Drew Bledsoe AND date a girl like Carrie Underwood. It's hard holding two steady jobs, and I get pressured by my teammates, Coach Parcells, and even the media. It's hard being Tony Romo. You better believe it...

    When my bro (pennyandthejets) went to the GB game, we caught some sports show that was interviewing Tony Romo and they asked him why he would announce that he "wasn't dating Jessica Simpson", then they asked him what superstar he would want to date. His answer....Carrie Underwood.

    His agent must be getting big bucks for hooking him up with her!
