I’m just very skeptical when big pharma and the govt get together to rush R&D and production into timeframes that are at least 30% shorter than normal. This is the kind of procurement method the DoD employs to end up with billion dollar helicopters that can’t get off the ground. I’m not fat, old, diabetic or on any kind of front line so I’m not sold at all on why I should be taking the shrapnel until I absolutely have to.
I see. Well I am fat, diabetic and I have liver disease which hospitalized me back on December 13th the day of my big S&OP Day (Sales and Operations Review). That day I stepped foot into Atlantic Health Emergency Room and I am desperate not to catch this Covid shit. The reason I went for the vaccine wasn't due to FDA. It was the advisory board to FDA that cleared this Pfizer vaccine. I want to believe that those 30 or so people on the advisory board have some human decency not to mess with our lives like that. I probably have a super weak immune system because this first dose was supposed to be the one without much side effects but I have fever and chills, home thermostat is at 74 I am still cold, my left arm hurts like hell I don't even know how I will survive the second shot honestly.
Dude, i got my second shot Wednesday. I wont lie that shit put me on my ass. A couple of the other girls too. Imagine 2 providers in the COVID clinic, after getting the COVID vaccine, and having COVID symptoms....it was hilarious. One of the flight nurses here just got his second said the same thing. The symptoms went away within 24 hour, and all think is, if this is what partial COVID feels like....im not trying to find iut what full COVID feels like Tho i did have some very interesting dreams Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
I got my first shot last Thursday and didn't have any side effects (outside the usual soreness where I got the shot). Getting the 2nd one in a few weeks.
So zace, if I am fucked with my first shot, will I survive the second shot? What do I do here man? Diarrhea, Vomitting Chills Fatigue Fever All after first shot. Fuck my life.
Yeah finish the series. Itll be the same symptoms but better than covid Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
My wife got her 2nd shot yesterday... called out of work today as she had a fever and chills overnight. Seems fine now outside of being a little tired.
2nd shot today. No soreness no side effects. A little concerned that it maybe bad tomorrow since I’m pretty much at the point of exhaustion, over caffeinated and a bit dehydrated from the marathon snow event. So far so good though.
Absolutely no side effects from the second shot. In fact the first shot was worse for soreness at the injection point Based on what I’ve experienced and what people have been telling me , I think there’s a correlation between the side effects and your activity level. Almost everyone I know complaining of side effects are not active people/ weren’t active after getting the shot. Fwiw
My first shot had severe side effects. I hope my second shot which is on Feb 17 will have no side effects.
I would just like to be able to get a damn shot, I can deal with a bit of discomfort. I wonder of the cold temperature of the vaccine is partly responsible for the arm pain as well as the shots being given by many who are out of practice in doing it right. I get an email every day from NYS with updates and today's came at 7:33 PM. It listed places for the pop-up vaccine sites getting started and found out one was just over a mile from where I live. Unfortunately it closed an hour and a half before I got the email and had been booked up by Monday; it was a one day deal. Looking back I found that the church that was supplying the space had posted it on Facebook Sunday night. I guess that gives me something else to monitor in case they return to the same location in the future.
which one did you get 2nd moderna fucks you up. Your personal experience is the opposite of what I have heard - from active and sedentary people
I'm getting the Johnson&Johnson. I've been hearing the only side effect is that it makes you become a very genuine person.
