There doesnt need to be any alternative. Head coaches, GM's, players should be picked based on skill, not on race. If minorities are underrepresented in headcoaching, its not because of race, its because of skills. No different, than the players......The most qualified player, GM, head coach will get hired based on skill, not because of the color of their skin. Also the logic that its a bunch of racist owners, does not hold up, because if there were racist owners, they wouldnt be hiring GM's and HC's that are picking predominantly minority players. Minority players are over represented. The idea that teams are racist, is completely made up........most of all though, if a team is racist, THEY WONT WIN MANY GAMES AND THEIR PRODUCT WILL SUFFER. Racist teams will miss out on good head coaches, GM's, and players. Money speaks, you can't afford to be racist in the NFL.

The logic doesnt hold up. Non-Minority players are underrepresented, so should teams that draft non-minoritiy players be given draft picks? None of this makes any sense, if you think the NFL is racist you are a fool. The majority of the people on the field each Sunday are minorities.
