This is exactly why I didn't want Johnsons to sell just yet, as they finally got a good GM and they always had the check book open. 5 year commitment is a lot, and they paid. Glad it all worked out! Things are looking up in the Jet land.

Well I'd say we have the most intimidating coach/GM duo in the league. So that's a start!

I think we are going to take Zach Wilson now. I’m good with whoever they decide on.

Good point. And Bieniemy really gets no traction in these interviews.

Is Saleh a minority? Honest question. What does the nfl define as that?

this team has had 5 years of zero identity/zero passion and even when they won, nothing to get excited about. If this hire at least today doesn't excite you, then you are just looking to be negative. Already seeing tweets from Richard Sherman and others saying we got a good one.

I’m not going to provide my thoughts here. Broadway and others already hate me.

I would vote yes because unless you are Chinese, you are a minority.

    peace and love

Absolutely love this hire. But more importantly it is clear that JD got his guy, his top option.

If he is, the pick would be given to 49ers for developing him. We are just getting a terrific HC with great credentials and connections around the League.

Exactly we have a True Football GM from a proven winner and SB team who league members hold in high regards and now a HC who was high on every teams list and checks off the all the boxes I think Jets fan are so wired to always not getting their way and being miserable they choose to do so even in a win win situation sadly

He is a Muslim but according to Wilkpedia he is Lebanese. I don’t think that qualifies as a minority per the NFL coaching policy. I could be wrong though ?

Absolute HOMERUN hire especially with Mike LaFleur as OC.

No shot Saleh took a 5 year deal to hitch himself to Sam. I'm expecting Wilson to be the pick because he really fits that SF scheme, but so does Fields.

Wow! I wasn't expecting to see this tonight. I'm totally psyched. I love the fact that Douglas didn't wait for the dominoes to fall. He went and got the guy he felt was the best choice. I also love that he's bringing LaFleur.

Love this. The exact opposite of Gase. Slapping guys high fives, running down the sidelines, pumping fists! Players love to play for this guy. He knows what he's doing on the defensive side and he's already got a staff assembled. CEO type hire. Most pumped I've been since Rex. Solid hire.
