Could a different player emerge as worthy of our #2? Do we need a wide receiver by any chance?

Hell no. Miami will take him and haunt us for years.

Don't trade back. Take him at #2. That's a talent you don't pass up

I could see the Pats drafting Mac Jones. He seems very smart and composed.

That's fine. We don't have to agree. I won't be upset if JD doesn't take Harris, but I will excited if he does.

Could we possibly get a good RB later? Yes. I like Javonte Williams, Trey Sermon, and Kenneth Gainwell, but none of them can hold a candle to Harris..

Pre-combine I think Lawrence, Fields, Wilson, Trask, Lance and Jones all go into the evaluation bucket on 1st round worthiness.

I expect nothing that Lawrence does at the combine and pro days to much diminish his stock.

Everybody else is going to rise and fall depending on how the group does as a whole.

Where would I pick Fields? Definitely not on the #2.

Mac Jones is a system QB, probably a decent NFL backup.

Man if I could trust Darnold a little more we’d be able to put such a good team together with all the cap space and draft picks

I might just say fuck it and hope he gets his shit together

Watching the replay, it’s a zone d and they act like he’s not a threat....terrible defense and he didn’t do anything on that play to tell me he’s be successful in the NFL.

A strong NFL Physical CB may stop Smith s routes

OSU's DC should be fired following this game.

The ONLY scenario I may be ok with is if we take Smith at #2 and Najee with our late first.

I don't think he will fall that far, but if that scenario played out, it would be hard for me to be upset

Is he as can't miss of a prospect as Keyshawn Johnson was in 1996?

We need to take Smith at 2 and if Douglas doesn’t think his guy will be there at 23, use some draft capital to trade up. Smith is a sure fire game changer. Elite level talent. No QB after Lawrence is elite and they all have tons of red flags. Smith has none.

The OSU DC should be fired for this gameplan. Smith is uncovered every play, they don’t even know where he IS.
