In response to a question about the money factor when discussing Darnold, Douglas told Kay something along the lines of "that's a great point."
Also JD did say the coach will pick all his assistants, if they want his opinion he will give it. But the head coach will make the call on his staff As for Sam, the salary of $25 million is going to be a big factor. I think Sam will be gone and the contract will be their exit strategy is firming their choice to move on
Unless they want to keep him and tell him to renegotiate for a lower base amount and put in incentives/milestones to meet, i.e., 70% completion %, X # of TDs and INTs, etc.
In just to say fuck Ira boot licker always kissing Jet ass to get in the Jets good graces and get stupid swag and go behind the stupid scenes End of rant
Why would Sam do that? Why would Sam's agent accept that? If he were to stay and play for his original rookie salary in 2021, he could walk as a FA and a number of teams could bid for his service and he could make a lot more than what the Jets offer. Plus, if the Jets aren't willing to pick up his 5th year option, that says that the Jets don't really believe in him. If you were in Sam's shoes, the team that drafted you had not fixed the OL, put better weapons around you, given you better coaching, or had any stability, would you accept a lowered contract offer? IMO that would be insulting.
OT, but when you changed your avatar, did it ever go back to the previous one? For some reason, I keep getting my previous avatar after uploading a Cotchery pic.
