Well Trevor is a great kid too. Jets will be winners either case. I just love the fact that Fields can be even better than Trevor with the right coaching. I now have hope.
Ok, but we need someone to push Herndon and I'll change my handle by this time next week if it means he'll catch more passes.
I would honestly be happy either way. I think we are In a really good spot In the draft with these two QB's coming out.
The thing is, it isn't just Lawrence. The Clemson D has to figure out a way to stop Sermon and the TEs. Even if Lawrence leads Clemson to a TD on every possession they have in the 2nd half, OSU could still win.
My favorite moment from that show was when Fields and his team was having a terrible 1st half and he was visibly shaken. He turns to his dad and says I don't know what to do dad (it's so easy to forget how immature we are at that age). His dad says something to the effect of "Lead them with your mind Justin. They won't go anywhere if you don't lead them." You see the light bulb go off in his head. He calms down, balls out the 2nd half and leads them to victory. He's a really likable kid and honestly if not for Trevor Lawrence would have been a lock for the 1st QB drafted. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
So far this game is PERFECT for the NY Jets. If we really like Fields -- or Wilson -- we're set at #2. If we're unsure or if for some reason we think Year 4 of Sam > Year 1 of Fields/Wilson.....then we have a nice bidding war.
They're going to. I see no way Clemson comes back and wins, unless Fields can't play in the 2nd half.
I can't speak for anybody else, but I don't watch a lot of college ball outside of UCF, so this is my first time watching him play...
He said he'd rank them 11th, they shouldn't be in the playoff, and has trolled them numerous times since he beat them in 2015 and 2019 on social media.
I mean we'll see if Lawrence can bring them back and make it a game. So far, I'm not seeing much from him.
Gase has to be fired come Monday..he will ruin Fields for sure Probably tell him to run for first downs
This does put the pressure back on TLaw to show what he can do playing from behind. He's being touted as a savior, and come from behind victories are what saviors are known for. A time for heroes.
