Honestly, I rather see Woody in charge than Chris. Woody will fire Adam Gase for sure. If it was up to Chris I am not so sure.
My only worry with Woody coming back is if he decides to completely clean house and sends Douglas packing too. Given the length of his contract, I'd find it doubtful, but the Jets seem to revel in making stupid decisions.

Come on, Cman. Don't you get it? Woody Johnson is the Forrest Gump of billionaires, and the Jets are his shrimp boat. He has doddered around like an idiot most of his life, bumping into icons and celebrities and mumbling gibberish, being picked on and laughed at. Only when a gigantic storm (Covid) smashes into the coast does Forrest have his windfall and become the giant success at the end. I think maybe Christopher is Lieutenant Dan in this scenario.
There's a reason Mehta lasted as long as he did at the Daily News. In the 80's when the print media was still a hot commodity we called the print meta The Tabloid Wars. Now that print media is declining in an apparent death spiral the tabloids are more like two cranky old men fighting it out with canes they barely use any more as their walkers totter and threaten to spill them onto the floor.
As long as the Johnson Clowns own this team I really don't think there's any real difference between them - pick your poison. And I'd be very surprised if Chris was not in close touch with Woody about major decisions the past 4 years.
Well, I really don’t have any love for the Johnson’s but the article is a political commentary with zero value added and little or fuck nothing to do with the faith of the Jets. Tabloid filler at best. No matter who of the 2 brothers take the lead is meaningless to me unless JD is put at the helm. Quite frankly, I rather have Woody in the shadows than Chris up front thinking he knows better how to select a HC. JD must be the face of this franchise, with ownership in the background.
