hey the Giants just beat the Seahawks with Colt 45 mcCoy lmao Its more like any given Sunday than running outa gas tbh
YES the second coming of Namath! ahaha TY for that one CC! No one bought into the Hype surrounding little Baker Mayfield as the first round pick. Meanwhile the Browns just knocked off the Titans today That could be us one day if we just pick Lawrence and not think twice please heh
Baker had a good game today.. that’s the best I’ve ever see him play no doubt but I still don’t believe he’s a top 10 QB.
They should get killed against the Titans and Ravens, but they have a shot at home against the Bears and then in Week 17 if the Colts have their playoff seed locked up.
The Johnsons and Kahn are fighting over Lawrence-- Both of them want to lose the remaining games and will try to lobby that down the organizations. Jags and Jets both have multiple selections, cap space and a need for QB--Lawrence is the missing ingredient for both teams. This will get interesting.
It's making it interesting, but I certainly wouldn't call it fun. It's the same kind of nervousness that comes with a playoff game but with none of the positivity that comes with it. If they end up blowing this and go 1-15 and lose out on the #1 pick, then we're right back at square one, with a talentless team and no franchise QB coming in the draft to entice quality coaching candidates and free agents to come here. The future of the franchise depends on them getting this pick. If they don't, we're in for more suffering for years to come while we continue to try to find a franchise QB.
Yes and no. As long as Seattle makes the playoffs, which they will, their draft position will be determined by when they exit the playoffs. So it's beneficial if they don't win the division bc they would have a tougher first game. But it doesn't directly affect their draft position.
I know on any given Sunday, but it is pretty hard to see the Jets winning any of the next 4. Seattle is going to play with a chip on their shoulder and we cannot exploit their weak pass D but they can sure expose ours. I do not see us beating the Rams on the west coast, when they are fighting for division/Playoffs. Browns are clearly playing for playoff position. Some may think I am crazy but I think the Patriots may be playing for the division in week 17 against us. Buffalo can easily go 2-3 in the next 5, if Patriots can get through the Rams and then beat Miami and Buffalo, the week 17 Bills vs Miami game could give the Pats the Division tiebreaker if the Fins win.
I obviously prefer Lawrence, but I think Fields is going to be a stud in the NFL as well, and more than enough to help a well-balanced team make the leap to Championship contender. As long as we pick top 2, we can’t lose in my book.
I was saying this earlier too. It was such an intense ending today between the Raiders-Jets and Jaguars-Vikings. It was fun. I focused on those games instead of the games that actually mattered between playoff teams.
I don't understand how the Jets SOS can be 50 points higher than the Jags. We play the AFC West and KC this year....but they're the only great team there. How the hell is our schedule that much better than theirs ? Gonna check it out........
The guy in the video did a good analysis however he’s making too many assumptions when trying to find holes in Trevor’s game. The whole anticipation throws I’ve been hearing so much about is ridiculous because we don’t know how he’s being coached to release the ball by Dabo and his staff. On the post play where he wanted Trevor to release the ball before he came out of his break is BS because Trevor wanted to see what the free safety was going to do once the WR made his break. Once he saw him shift away he released it and had good protection for that play to develop. I’ve watched a lot of film on Lawrence and if I had to find a hole in his game it’s making adjustments at the line and got all I know maybe Dabo doesn’t allow much of it in his system. Trevor can be one of the best ever once he gets to the nfl and gets taught how to audible into different protections at the line. Fields is nowhere even close to the prospect Trevor Lawrence is not even close. To me he is a one read QB that takes off as soon as his first target is covered. Now, he definitely has talent and at this point he’s probably a better option over Darnold (I’ve flipped back and fourth on this) but he will need a really good QB coach and OC to coach him up. The arm talent is there and he can use his legs to get out of trouble but between the ears I’m a bit sceptical because his QB iq and football awareness isn’t high end. As for Wilson I’ve watched some of his tape now that he’s on the radar and his last game vs Coastal Carolina was terrible. Also his receivers didn’t help him. What jumps out at me is that he’s small kinda reminds me of Drew Breese in frame. He has a live arm no doubt I saw him roll to the right a whip one in cross body on the money. That was really the only flash that impressed me. The level of competition was so bad he has faced too.. If this kid gets 2 years to sit behind a vet he might have a chance but thrown in right away is just not an option. It would be like going from Grade 1 and Skipping to grade 8.
They get the NFC North where only the Packers are surging, we get the best NFC division where even a hobbled 49ers are still in the hunt. 9 game differential between the 2

We keep getting a break....teams are suffering their "Letdown Losses" the week or two BEFORE we play them. Miami lost before we played them.....Raiders blown out last week.....Seattle upset this week before we fly out to meet them. At Seattle...at Rams....home to Cleveland.....at Patriots.
