Game Day Eats and Drinks

I suppose we’d better be famous for something!! There’s four of us tuning in (6pm UK time) on NFL Game Pass.

My wife has done her usual weekend thing and got a truckload of beer. I it’s ale today so it will be London Pride, Spitfire, Landlord; that sort of thing. I married her for a reason!!

Ribs and chicken are on the go by the looks of it.

Got a Pork shoulder smoking right now using Cherry and Hickory. Started it at 0800. Should be done by 6pm ish..

I have actually slightly undercooked my steak but don't tell anybody but it is really quite nice, I am just not looking at the redness within Usually it is med with a line of pink in the centre but really this one is 1/4inch pink, well rested though.

 

Cumberland sausage, jacket spuds and baked beans. The last of my Friday stout delivery to drink. Keep the beer as dark as possible, always.

Roast dinner should be ready just after kick off. Washed down with an ice cold Kronenbourg. Might make the game palatable.

My diet for this "wonderful season" is and has been scotch, bourbon, gin, vodka, and even beer This way I'm blitz and don't give a shit,

 

Pork shoulder now at 195F. 10deg higher and I'm good to pull it off the smoker.

 

We get the annual pass which costs around £140. This gives access to every game. UK tv will generally show games between teams that are in contention so if we didn’t have Game Pass we’d never see The Jets at all! Lol.

 

I just use internet streams and watch all the Jets games for free lol but I seen they had a thanksgiving offer to buy it for 99p for jus ta week

!40 is a bit steep to watch us lose every week lol
