They are the top 2 TE prospects and our TE's haven't produced this year. Both have the upside to be elite and make life easier for the QB in 2021, whoever it is. It's not out of the question that both are still on the board when we're on the clock with the Seattle pick. Which one would you take if both are available?
I go Pitts. I think he's what we all wanted Herndon to be and more. He's how the TE position is trending nowadays, big, athletic guys that are almost WR's. He would cause so many matchup problems for opposing defenses in the Kelce/Waller mold. I think it's a moot point because I think he'll be long gone by Seattle's pick but it's not totally out of the question.
I would be happy with either one. Both are mismatches for DBs. Both are great receivers and would be great targets for Lawrence. Both are supposedly willing blockers.
Pitts is a baller. Can line him up anywhere too. in line,H,X or slot. He runs good routes w a nice release & consistently wins contested balls.
Freiermuth is now out of the question after suffering a season ending injury (which is being disclosed) and unfortunately Kyle Pitts is a top 10 pick with no chance of sliding to Seattle's pick. With Seattle's pick it's gotta be either the #1 rated interior O-Lineman or the best available WR.
