Yeah my favorite is the complaint about only completing one touchdown to a first round receiver. People forget to bring up Donald Driver, Jordy Nelson, Greg Jennings, Randall Cobb, and now Davante Adams and his elite offensive line and two good runningbacks.

Mariota I guess fits into the RG3 mold but he looked like a stud after year 2. Josh Freeman too.

I just looked through a bunch of years and I really can't find anything near similar to this.

He also has had some good tight ends....Finley was a monster for like 4 years, he's had Cook, Rodgers, Graham and this Tonyan guy is pretty good..

Mariota wasn't this extreme though, he was never an MVP candidate, and even in his last year in Tennessee, he wasn't this bad. And Freeman was never an MVP candidate either.

Does Josh Freeman fit that description?

Daunte Culpepper had a great rookie year and looked like he was gonna be a star.

Ouch. (The video is titled Joey Bosa Obliterates Carson Wentz on the Sideline.)

Yeah the answer is pretty much no. 2018 Derek Carr looked like he was trending that way but he did not have the turnover problems Wentz has. He just had a legitimately stripped down team and a coach that wanted to strip him down. Carr finished tied for 3rd in 2015 MVP voting

For a guy that gets 2 carries a game and hasnt been good in 3 years Bell gets a ton of publicity.

Wow, that is seriously bad pass defense. How can you leave Kelce wide open in the end zone?

Mahomes faked out the defensive back.

Like I said, that's bad pass defense. We're not talking about Kelce getting a step on someone because of hesitation from a play-action fake - there was no one within 5 yards of him as he was standing in the end zone.

Jimmy Garapolo is heading into that territory - in his first season in SF in 2017 he looked great (his QBR was higher than Wentz's best year) and since then he has been on a downward spiral and I dont see him being kept on after this year

I am assuming he still counts as a young QB because in his 3 years as a rookie in NE he only started 2 games

Vince Young? he sort of did it twice though - looked good then went bad then looked good again, then bad

Is there any doubt that the Jets have NO CHANCE to beat the Raiders in a couple of weeks?

Somehow Football Outsiders has the Jets at 21% chance to go winless. I think that is extremely low.

to be honest, that's not low at all. Despite how shitty they actually are, just look at history to see the amount of 0-16 teams (is it 2?) To go winless these days is a feat within itself :(

Bye bye Brady. He is pretty mediocre these days.
