    Per Mike Garafalo

Was ranked 71 out of 75 among qualified CB's this season.

At least he "qualified." That's like ring-of-honor material on this team.

I knew he’d be benched, no issue with cutting bait though. Let’s get Bryce Hall out there instead.

I was optimistic about him. Good for JD not trying to save face by hanging on.

Yes, it’s an important part of being a good organization, not being blind to your own mistakes. Good thing he was a very cheap mistake.

We saw this coming, I’m actually surprised it didn’t happen sooner to be honest, it was tough to watch him play.

Reminded me of Kyle Wilson out there getting toasted play after play and couldn’t help but feel bad for the guy.

It isn't often we have a CB make three Int's taking one to the house and still look that shit.

    2020 keeps on giving.

Saying this, we are going to have to be careful as we still need shit players for a few more games yet.

For sure. Drafting a DB with a broken ankle got JD some flack at the time, but Hall could turn out to be the late-pick diamond in the rough all teams hope for. If not for the ankle he may have gone a lot sooner, like the 2nd or 3rd round.

I think he has a chance to be a legitimate #2 CB. There are questions about his athleticism but has all-world work ethic.

After his effort issues, this is likely justified. They're better off playing and evaluating Austin and Hall or even Jackson, Guidry, Ballentine or Maulet. This is extended preseason.

If Hall is the player I imagine him to be we could have two corners that will fit well in zone defenses. And I hope the team will recognize that. Bless can certainly tackle and isn't scared to come down in run support. I imagine Hall can too - that Virginia defense was physical last year.

Pretty sad if you are not good enough for an 0-16 team

also, let’s stop with the Colts CB castoffs...clearly they suck

I would still want to upgrade Austin as soon as possible. I’m fine with him as the #3 (non-nickel) but I want someone with better technique as the starter even in a zone based coverage scheme.

Well being anemic at corner should help with the tank!
