It'll be great. Remember, until now he's been coached by the Vikings. Now that he's a Jet his career gets the benefit of our coaches.
This is what you do when you have very little. Sift through the mounds of NFL garbage looking for people you might be able to salvage. Moving him back to Center sounds like the way to go.
Dozier must have been better! Oh we got rid of him when Gase came in... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Pat Elflein was pretty popular. Source said #Jets, #Ravens, #Washington, #Bears, #Dolphins and #Jaguars all put in claims. Jets got him.
Well, to be fair; he wasn't a generational type of recruit coming out of H.S. He was a 3 star prospect heading into Ohio State and was the 55th rated Offensive Guard coming out within the Nation and the 998th rated HS player within the entire Country coming out. No. He wasn't an Elway/Manning/Lawrence coming out of HS (or even an Orlando Pace type of juggernaut Ohio State recruit of an O-Lineman). lol
Who cares what he was coming out of HS, hes been in the NFL long enough for us to know he sucks and is at best a backup to this OL. This OL only
Is there anyway the software can upgraded so that immediately after a Jets signing, the system supplies the "Championship!" post as the very next entry? We all know someone is going to post it, so it will save us all some time from actually writing it and also save us the trouble of checking to see who did, because we all know someone is going to do it.
Lol I've always wondered who made the "Championship" thing so popular here on TGG? Was it @championjets69 ?
Well now that the post count is in the thirties it appears that this guy has gotten more than his fair share of attention. Lock it up, Brook!
Given the lack of talent, especially on the OL, I think claiming Eiflein is a good thing. Maybe he helps, maybe he doesn't, but it doesn't hurt to try. That's the same reason I thought claiming McKinley from the Falcons was worth it. When you have a hole in the dike you can't just stuff the middle, you have to work around the edges of it first.
