I hated Macs Pick for another DT when we got Q Williams

That said after ex Jet Adams he is our best defensive player atm and the kid is young

I am of the Opinion he can stay and grow with the Team

Just get him a course on gun control /Homeland Security/FAA rules ahahah

 

It would be have to be a pretty high first rounder. I don't want to trade Q for some late first rounder in hopes that we MAY get lucky and draft someone like him. We already have him. Was he worth 3d overall, no he is not, but if we got a guy like that with a mid to late 1st, people would be very happy. And if that's the case, there is no point to trade him for these as he is still on rookie deal.

 

I want to throw up when i think about how little production we have gotten out of our draft picks especially first rounders the last 10 years.

 

So far, he hasn't trashed the organization or demanded a trade. On top of that, he's taken a step forward this year. As others have said, unless a team offers a package that's too good to refuse, keep him.

Does it include the first 2 rounds because its like 20 players or more...And thats just the last 10 years.Even a guy like Leonhard Williams...he wasnt a bust but he didnt live up to expectations or the hype around him....

Leave the kid alone and keep him a Jet. The kid is having a solid season and need a foundation at defense. If we lose him to a trade we sill have to pick up a DT. Sure DT is easy to pick up but he sums still relative very young with a good future.

 

He took the course the hard way. Passed with flying colors.

 

This reeks of Adam Gase! Macc drafted him probably against his blessing. It has been festering awhile now. And he is pushing it with JD.

Given we have him and he is playing well, so trade value is high. And DL is place we have depth, even Anderson is waste. But wouldn’t trade for lower than a 1st. Quite frankly wouldn’t trade him at all. We won’t get good enough value back for #3 pick on rookie contract. He should be foundational.

This was discussed previously on here. Every reporter has come out stating that this is bullshit and completely false. Mehta being Mehta.

 

Manish probably read it here and made up the rumor.

 

What do the PF ratings say about QW this year and last year, ranking-wise among tackles ?

 

Then we can get a bag of used kicking tees for Crazy Eyes......

 

The tees would probably make more adjustments and would certainly be better with the media.

 

This is what I think too.Until Gase is relieved of his duties he has it in his head that anyone inherited from Mac must go..

 

Draft is a casino for bad teams. Look at the teams that are consistently good and remain that way. It's not cause they're picking top 10 every year.

Does the above make any sense to you? Looks like Williams has quietly developed into one of the top interior linesman in the League per PFF, is on a cheap contract still for two more years, and sources said we would trade him for less than even a late 1st rounder? I think that in 5 days we will find out that Mehta's sources were full of shit.

 

I thought I saw a Cimini tweet about this being basically BS. I might be wrong though..
