Hey guys, I'm going out on a little bit of a limb here, based on a source on twitter I follow and a post by Brian Poole: I think Brian Poole might have been traded. I'm going to either be breaking early news or you guys might give me a hard time for a couple of weeks. I hope my reputation on TGG is good enough where you guys know I'm not trolling! Let's see if this breaks by AM.

I smell a big rat. If we trade all of our starters, giving up on the season, and plan for a total rebuild, there is a better than 50/50 chance Gase is going along because Chris might have guaranteed his job thru the rebuilt. That to me is deadly.
Nah Gase is toast. JD isn’t putting his football career on the line for Adam Gase.. if he does he’s a fool and fire his ass too.
Looks like he's going to Baltimore and yes I really liked him as a nickel and slot CB but A.) He's not a homegrown Jet. B.) He's now 28 years old (CBs don't usually age well once into their 30s). C.) Will be looking for another contract come the off-season and D.) Never really helped our pass defense because our pass defense has been horrible with (or without) him. I'm hoping we receive a 4th round pick for him. JD is not only tanking for Trevor Lawrence but also trying to receive as many draft assets as possible in order to finally build an offense moving forward throughout the draft. I'm not mad @ this move @ all. He's already 28 years old and not apart of our future moving forward.
Poole tweet makes it seem legit. I truly hate this franchise. Happy for Poole but Jesus Christ, we are fucking inept.
Bruh. Look @ our pass defense. Wtf has Poole done to help it? We stink with him so might as well unload him in order to receive draft amo moving forward. I called it as soon as we traded #33. 3-13 @ best with potential to go 1996ish 1-15. The moment JD traded Jamal Adams for 2 first round picks was the moment our 2020 season was OVER and that very moment JD began to plan for the future. You don't think JD wants Trevor Lawrence as bad as we do? Because he does! And in the meantime he's trying to stock pile as many offensive draft assets as possible leading up to the draft in order to finally build a real offense around Becton, Mims and Trevor LAWRENCE! FK these defensive players on our current roster. Just look @ our defense. They are awful. Poole included. 2009/2010 was the last chance our Defense had @ leading us to a Championship and fk my user name too! It's not like Poole was homegrown or even a spring chicken he's already 28 so might as well get rid of his ass because if he's really any good, you can't tell; because our defense sucks without him. Who knows what JD has up his sleeves. Maybe it's more than just Trevor. What if he's able to accumulate enough draft picks (QW included) where he SPLASHES and lands us both Trevor and Chase @ WR by trading up for Chase? Who knows but come draft day we're all going to be excited about a boat load of draft capital!
For real man. Our defense SUCKS with Poole and our pass defense has sucked ever since he's been here. So let's not act like he's some game changing CB if anything he's becoming exposed without Jamal Adams and so is Gregg Williams! Trade his ass for a 3rd or 4th and use it on OFFENSE!
Everyone cried about #33's lack of INTs. And he was a Strong SAFETY! How many INTs has Poole put up this year as a CORNER BACK?!?!? 2?!?! HOW MANY GAMES HAS HE HELPED OUR 0-6 JETS WIN THIS YEAR?!?!? 0?!?!? Last year he looked good because Jamal Adams an All Pro was flying all around our defense but this year? Guys like Poole and Maye have become EXPOSED and our pass defense STINKS with them and so does our run defense! I am glad JD is getting rid of these guys for draft picks. I've enjoyed no one on our 2020 defense for the first time since Parcells days and believe they all stink!
